Good washer with a flaw

I bought this washer a few years ago. I runs and cleans very well. The problem I found and cannot get rid of is mold. I did what the manual says front door was always gatched never closed after using still mold grew. It leaves a nasty smell on clothes. I have used every product I have come across and of course the self cleaning mode. The mold is in the gasket now. Nothing to do but replace the washer which I cannot afford. Replacing the gasket is not much less than replacing the washer.

Excellent Features

We received this about a month ago. I love the ThinQ app notifications I am able to receive on my Gear Fit watch. No more guessing if the laundry is done!

Larger and quieter

Quiet operation/ great features/ efficient

Works great!

Awesome features and I love the fact that it doesn’t use anywhere near the amount of water my old one used to. Only complaint is that the detergent cup stays full of water when the cycle is done. Might be a faulty cup or something.

Gets off balance easy

I had a set of LG's before this that lasted 9 yrs before they died. Had to get some new ones, so got these and DON'T DO IT. The washer bangs and clangs. Can't put in a lg load or it sounds as if it's going to blow up. It is leveled. Have had 3 repair guys here and diagnosis was the tub is hitting brackets on the side. Last repair guy never sent in his report so now it's out of warranty and we are considering new ones after 1 yr. The buttons don't line up with the programs, and I hate th...

This machine failed within 2 1/2 years of use.

The bearings have gone out on the machine and will cost us up to $700 to repair. It sounds like a very loud prop plane when it goes into the spin cycle. We have had two repair companies come out and they both indicated not worth fixing.

Awesome LG Washer

My new LG washer has great features and was a wonderful price. I wished I would have bought it years ago. I love all of the cycles and the ease of use.

Good choice

I bought this almost a month ago and it has been a good experience. I had about 22 years with my previous washers and I liked them, I was used to them. Unfortunately, I needed to get a new washer. I bought this washer because it was cheaper. Although I was extremely doubtful of it functionality, it worked well and I was happy.

I love my new machine

My old machine sounded like an airplane was taking off and this one can hardly be heard at all! My husband even commented that the laundry looks much cleaner. The wider door opening makes a huge difference. My laundry gets done so much faster because each load has a shorter run time and it holds so much more laundry per load.

Perfect washer for pet hair & all load sizes
