LOUD and LG Service is HORRIBLE

washer Dryer combo is LOUD and shakes the whole house. LG says it is because it is in second story apartment

Cycle takes too long.

This was just put in my apartment and it seems like a lot. I just used it today for the first time and the whole cycle was 3 hours. I think it should be shorter than that. I just want the usual wash/dry cycle. Previously, it took 90 minutes for wash and dry. Not sure that I like that I can't pick the options I want to do the laundry. If there is a way to customize the options, it's not easy to find. Love the washer and dryer in one unit though.

slow and moves

4 hours to work both cycles also, it moves everywhere and will mess up your floor and walls. I wish i could return for a full refund.

Junk

This is awful. Clothes will not dry. Any review telling you otherwise is fake. Clothes come out damp no matter what setting. Four hours for a load of laundry is accurate and unacceptable. Junk!!!

Worst experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stay away from LG. I am sure I will. I have been using the brand for years. Until recent purchase of the washing machine has changed everything to the point of no return. An absolute nightmare of the product and customer service.

Great Features

High Quality, Reliable, Long-lasting

Bought our unit in 2015 and just starting to have problems with it now, 9.5 years later. Until now it has been reliable and cleans well. The issue some have with drying is notable. When the chime signals that the cycle is complete, do not wait to pull items out or they will dampen as they cool. Heavier Items, like towels, may need another drying cycle. Otherwise, this is a wonderful product for a small household of two people.

Hate

Why the actual f is there no setting to just DRY why is it SO HARD TO JUST DRY YOUR CLOTHES. So insanely frustrated, they make this thing so hard to figure out and use

Second generation improvements

This generation of LG's all-in-one washer/dryer is improved over the previous. I've owned both and, while I really liked the previous one, this operates better. Particularly the dryer. It is easier to program and dries faster.

Good washer/dryer combo

Where ya been all my life?!?!?

Annoying Machine

This machine annoys me. It washes clothes just as well as my old machine. The display is not simple. The manual assumes the user is a techno-geek. The drum leaves lint on the door. The door where the lint is supposed to end up doesn’t collect very much lint but does collect water that floods out when that door is opened.

DO NOT BUY!

Ordered 8/6 and delivered 8/10. Started leaking from the door by 8/16. After nearly a month, 2 tech visits, and 30 hours on the phone, LG is only offering partial refund as they say the damage was caused by transit/delivery.

Takes too long and also is shrinking the clothes and everything comes out wrinkled.

Do not reccomend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this model for three years and have replaced three drain pumps. This washer/dryer gets very little use. It is embarrassing that I paid for it at the height of the pandemic and how long I waited for it. It was the worst purchase ever. I will purchase a Speed Queen next time.

Terrible machine

Horrible product. Why is there no user manual anymore with anything? I have to scan a QR code then forced to download some app? I want to know why it “auto detects” that some towels are going to take 3.5 hours on “waterless dry”. This product is junk. I get the concept but come up with something that doesn’t make more work if you are trying to make a product to reduce work. I do not recommend.

Question About Lint Filter Location

Question: Where is the lint filter on this model. On the larger model it is on top of the machine so the install space must be ~10 inches higher than the machine. On this model the manual says the install space need only be 1/4 inch higher than the machine so the link filter must be elsewhere. Where is it?

LOVE THIS LITTLE MACHINE!

I love this little machine! Why bother with washing machines the size of a phone booth? I love its small size but very decent capacity. I love not having to move wet clothes from the washer and the dryer. I love that it is ventless. Does a great job washing and drying and steam refreshing! The clothes only seem damp when they come out -- when folded they are absolutely dry and wrinkle-free. The washer does an excellent job.

The long dry cycle does not completely dry the load. When the cycle ends and you open the unit, a big cloud of steam is emitted. I end up putting the laundry out side on my drying line.
