Fits my needs

It’s the first time I’ve used an all in one and I love the convenience. I can wash and dry a smedium load in about 3 hours. It has wash and dry only cycles. It’s fairly quiet and the loudest it gets is when it’s on the extra high spin cycle. The high speed causes vibration and movement but that could be because it’s sitting on a rolling slider and a pedestal. I’m a family of one and I’ve used it weekly for the past 2 months.

Poor Product

I bought this machine back in May 2024. All along it has been really bad at drying. Washing always was fine, but my clothes never came out dry. They would either be damp or plain wet. Also it can take up to 12 hours for a single wash/dry cycle. And things like bedding and towels even after multiple dry cycles don’t fully dry. I’ve had to start air drying those items. Terrible

I have had this machine for 4 months and it broke. The company was impossible to contact to even get someone to look at it since it was still under warranty. It wasn't until I threatened with bad reviews that I got somewhere. It has been 2 months since it broke. The liason team keeps saying they'll call a certain day, but they never do. disappointed

broke down after a couple months it wont even turn on lowes and lg refuse to replace it even though I bought both warranties. Carl the manager at lowes refuses to help me and os rude about it.

Horrible Product

Does not dry clothes in less than 4 to 6 hours. Very loud. Very high maintenance. Do not purchase. Waste of money.

will this work?

I owned the 2006 version of this unit - lasted 18 year! At the time it came with a portability kit (4 casters and snap on kitchen faucet thing.) I need to replace it and this looks like it could be the one! I have an extra portability kit and wonder if there's any reason this unit would not work to replace my old LG WM3431HW?

Loud, high-pitched whining sound during dry cycle

The unit does what it's supposed to do. Wash and dry cycles are quite a bit longer than standard washers and dryers but I expected that before purchasing it. What I find alarming is the high-pitched whining noise the unit makes during every dry cycle -- similar to an emergency broadcast signal. Apparently this is typical for these LG machines due to their utilization of a small high-pressure turbine fan. Not so durable

I am giving this product 2 stars because it did do a decent job of washing and drying light clothes. DO NOT buy this if you want any towels or anything more than maybe 5 articles of clothing washed at a time. Also no bedding. I bought it in 1/24 and have had to repair it once in May 2025 and it broke again this weekend. It’s expensive to repair and now my husband is waiting on LG to hear regarding another repair. If you have to buy it buy a very extended warranty.

Condensation build up

Yes. Dry times are long. But my washer either has a leak or the condensation build up causes water to pool on the floor. I cannot get through LG's AI *customer associate.* All I want to do is schedule for a tech to come out and fix it.

Great for a small family

I was concerned about the negative reviews, so I avoided this product at first, but a plumber for my building recommended it, so I took another look. He said he had already helped install three of them in my condo complex and had received positive feedback about them! Walking Appliance

I've had the washer/dryer combo less than a week and I'm still learning to use it. My biggest problem was with the installation. I had setup a pedestal for it to sit on and used some coasters to put the pedestal in place where I wanted the washer. This machine has been the bane of my existence since I bought it 5 months ago. It does not dry and typically makes my clothes more wet when I try out drying cycles. Waste of money

I’ve only had this washer dryer combo for a few months and I regret buying it. The control panel is difficult to understand. But the major problem is the drying component. It doesn’t dry well. I called LG and I told them the problem. They told me that if they come out to look at it and nothing is wrong with the machine they will charge me. Takes so long!

Takes forever to wash and dry. Takes about 5hrs and 30min for one load. This is in my apt and I have no choice but to use it.

Takes a big load for such a small drum

just installed this under our kitchen counter for me and my husband and I put it on 3/8 hoses tapped off our sink inlets and have it draining into our sink also, and it's working perfectly. We did the initial test load of 6 heavy towels, and then did an actual wash and dry load (test wash is only rinse and spin), and they came out super dry. LG CUST SERVICE IS HORRIBLE & PARTS DEPT WORSE

First you will need to read my previous review - "Shakes the ENTIRE HOUSE vibrating, ZERO support" UPDATE: They finally sent a service contractor who identified the issue - the back counter balance part WAS LEFT OUT AT THE FACTORY and is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Their (foreign) customer a CIRCUS.

Not a combo of it doesn’t dry.

No matter the dry setting this thing consistently leaves clothes soggy and wet. No setting tried gets dry results. Brand new right out of the box this model is just plain useless as a combo. It’s basically a front load washer that takes longer and costs extra without giving any extra functionality (because the drying function is completely ineffective).
