Would RecommendWe installed these Kwikset door locks on both the front and patio doors. We love the finishes and styles. They are so much safer and secure than the old ones installed years ago. One cannot buy better door hardware than Kwikset.

Would Not Recommendit ate up the battery in two weeks or less! purchased some rechargeable batteries since someone I know said they were using them. the lock would not turn on. what is the point of having something like this, which eats up the batteries so quick? are these people connected to the battery manufacturers? not worth it. will be returning it for a regular lock and doorknob.

Would Not RecommendThe lock looks nice, easy to install but that's where it ends. I have to have spare keys hidden around the exterior so that I can ensure I enter the house. It doesn't like to accept the code and unlock. Have to hit lock to run the sequence, push the door a couple times, and then enter the code while hoping it works. I would avoid this lock.

Would Not RecommendAbsolutely horrible. I've had to factory reset this thing dozens of times. At this point it's no longer even responding to basic key presses. The instructions are extremely vague and don't match with what the lock actually does. It gives combinations of beeps and noises that aren't in the manual. Can't add user codes, and the cable that connects between the front and back is extremely sensitive and often slips making the front panel useless. This was a waste of money

Would Not RecommendWe bought 2 (for the front and back door) and it worked just fine. 6 DAYS later, we returned to the property and NEITHER would work at all; leaving us stuck. Customer service rep stated that a “basic function failed” so we need to exchange them for replacements. I definitely do not want another set of this product and would not recommend.
