What Customers Are Saying
The tool is generally well-received for producing clean, consistent cuts on a variety of materials. It was described as easy to set up and use, with a simple adjustment mechanism. However, some reviewers noted compatibility issues with certain saw models and concerns about the build quality of the plastic components. A few users also experienced issues with the accuracy of the measurements or the stability of the saw when clamped to the guide. Overall, the tool seems to be a useful addition for many woodworkers and DIYers, especially for ripping large sheets of material.

Don't know how about after cutting a sheet of plywood into 3" strips they were all curved 1/4-1/2" in the middle. I would rather go with a straight edge guide that takes longer to set up on a project like mine, but I can assure accuracy. It sat in my garage for over a month before I first used it, if not I would have returned it.
The Kreg Rip-Cut
Would RecommendUsed this adapter for my Ryobi saw and it worked amazingly well. I Used it for the first time today it did make straight cuts. Much better than free hand. If the mounting plate were made of aluminum, I'd give it 5 stars. The stop on the sled, side was a brilliant addition, where I only have to calibrate my saw once and can forget it if I remove my saw from the sled.

I used it to accurately cut GRANITE!
Would RecommendI bought this when I started to reface my kitchen cabinets. It is perfect for breaking down large sheets of plywood that I don't feel comfortable using the table saw for. I broke down all different thickness sheets with no issues. When I got my pre-fab 9ft granite slabs home I needed to cut a few inches off each end to make them to fit in my kitchen. I thought, why not give this thing a try. It made cutting down my granite SO EASY. I got great cuts and I didn't have to worry about clamping a str...
It takes a lot of work to use this
Would Not RecommendIt's easier to use my 4ft / 8 ft. guide that is clamped down than to use this guide. I'd like to get my money back.

Hassle to set up and cheap feel
Would Not RecommendTool makes decent cuts but wouldn’t say good enough for finished cuts. Jig is a hassle to set up each time and the sled doesn’t adjust on the rail very smoothly. Heavy use of plastic doesn’t make the jig feel sturdy
Beautiful!
Would RecommendI should have bought one of these years ago! It worked beautifully! Cuts as good or better than I would have acheived from my table saw. I needed boards to be at 4.5 inch width and this made them precisely at 4.5, all four boards! They looked like factory cut boards when I was done.
Better than the predecessor
Would RecommendI have the original of this tool, AKA Accu-Rip, and this is far superior to it in many ways. The fence is long enough to maintain contact with the edge of the material long after the blade had finished cutting, resulting in no sniping. The only problem I had was that the saw base plate slot had to be opened up to accommodate my Porter Cable left hand circular saw to let the blade guard close fully (a safety hazard). I may have had other options with this issue but that is what I ended up doing...
Great if you have three hands
Would RecommendSo the concept is great, but in practice it means you put one hand out one way to hold the guide edge, and one on the saw. Kind of needs you to have another hand to hold the work. Yeah, clamps, I know. The attachment to the saw plate works well, although I reinforced mine with a couple of wood blocks on either side of the base, drilled into the Kreg unit. It's a handy thing for ripping a full sheet, but there's a lot left to be desired if you're planning more than that.

Not a good product
Would Not RecommendLike many of you, I was looking for a good tool to use to make straight cuts on plywood sheets. Seeing as I love my Kreg pocket jig, I decided to pick this up. It's mostly been a big disappointment. First, the build construction is not good. As others have pointed out, it's flimsy plastic that bends, and it's hard to get the plate to lock down to your saw in a solid way, especially if you have a heavier duty Skil saw. There also seems to be a bit of play in the actual handle due to the flims...
Absolutely great tool!
Would RecommendThe Kreg Rip-Cut was extremely easy to use, made perfect cuts, and light work out of a sheet of 3/4 plywood! Super simple to setup using a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 7-1/4 circular saw. My only want with this item is a way to cuts larger than 24"! Would love the ability to cut 36" using the rip-cut!

Just not that good
Would Not RecommendThe base that houses the saw is made of flimsy plastic and should have been constructed out of aluminum or or aomething more rigid and sturdy. When tightening down the saw to the base the plastic will bend makeing for less secure fit. Good product idea but bad execution. Go with something else.

Base kept sliding. Will have to predrill my makita saw base with holes or risk overtightening the kreg and breaking it. I was using it on a 3x7 pc. of oak plywood. 2 attempts and saw started veering on both tries.

Too cheap and flimsy to be effective
Would Not RecommendI own a few Kreg products and they've served me well. I had been using a edge guide clamp and carpenter's square then doing the math to compensate for the base of the saw. Works well but takes a few min to set up. I figured this jig would make the process faster and easier but its a cheap, flimsy piece of junk. It takes more effort to keep it straight than doing it the old fashioned way. Got it on clearance and it still was a waste of money.
