What Customers Are Saying
The digital thermometer appears to have mixed reviews. Many customers found it effective, accurate, and easy to use for various applications. However, a significant number reported issues with the accuracy and reliability of the temperature readings. Some also complained about the unconventional battery type and difficulty accessing the battery compartment. While the product works well for some users, the mixed feedback suggests it may not be the best option for all customers.

Would RecommendDidn't work straight out of the packet but after putting in new batteries it works perfectly. The little screw is a bit of a bother but you won't lose the screw, it has a stopper on the back to prevent it from falling out. Just make sure you have some backup batteries just in case. I bought it to use for cooking on the griddle and testing temps.
Battery Compartment
Would Not RecommendNo go from start. The battery compartment access is micro sized and has a tiny, tiny low detail Philips head. Anyone have a spare 1mm jeweler or optometrist cross head screw driver ? Nope, me neither. If this ever loosens and drops out, it will because it opens facing downward. if you were in BFE and managed to get the blister off this, you would be SOL. Not well thought out for use at all. Would have been very easy to make a snap or friction fit access cap or anything but this. No star ...
Price had me
Would Not RecommendI use Fluke at work and thought this would be an affordable home alternative. Get what you pay for. Numbers are meaningless. Might as well have a blue to red range.
Why include batteries if they're dead?
Would RecommendIt seems like a pretty cool tool but the batteries that came with it are very low, so I put them in and the low battery indicator came on, which may be why the laser barely shows and it's hard to read the display. Even with low batteries it seems to work pretty well, fun little tool to have.
Great Tool for determining surface temperatures!
Would RecommendI shopped for a digital device thermometer device that wouldn't break the bank. My immediate need was pretty limited as all I needed to do was verify the temperature of a concrete floor prior to applying a Rustoleum Epoxy material. This product was priced very fairly and was very easy to use with a visible indicator of the surface where the temperature was being evaluated.

Use infrared to diagnose car problems.
Think your wheel bearing is going out? Check the temp on each one and if one is a lot higher than the others you do have a bad wheel bearing. Same thing for a stuck break caliper. Anything that moves and has bearing going bad the temp will get hotter and hotter until catastrophe failure.
Great for cooking!
Would RecommendMost handy tool to use with a Blackstone or similar griddle. Perfect cooking temps

This Digital Non-Contact Thermometer has many uses
Would RecommendI have tested this product under several uses and compared it to a professional HVAC Technicians Non-contact thermometer. The results were not spot on but close and well withing usable range for home trouble shooting. The unit is very small and light making it easy to carry and use in any environment. Some of the places that I tested were my truck exhaust, my wood stove (see photos and video), then just for fun I took it with me when walking my dog. I used it on my black dog’s fur, on the lo...
The tool you never knew you needed
Would RecommendI love this thermometer. This is truly the tool I never knew I needed. I check A/C vent temperature, grill griddle temperature, stainless steel frying pan temperature (to make sure I get non-stick properties), and even pool water temperature. I didn’t think it would work with pool water, but it is very accurate. I verified with another digital thermometer, and they only differed by a fraction of a degree. This thermometer also measures very fast and can be seen by the short video clip of me movi...
Digital infrared thermometer
Would RecommendThis is a handy little tool. The laser light help to ensure you’re pointing the thermometer toward the correct item, such as an HVAC vent. You can easily see what the temperature is to determine if there’s an issue or not. We checked the burner on the cooktop stove and according to the thermometer, it works great! The stats can be changed to Celsius as well.
Interesting Product!
Would RecommendMy husband got this tool for a checking a multitude of areas, including checking electrical breakers for temperature hot spots, car engine temperatures, air conditioner temperatures, and window/door temperature losses. He especially loves it because it can check temperatures at a distance. The laser helps you zero in on a specific area and records the temperature making it easy to reach high areas or tight spaces. We also learned the puppy loves to chase the laser light! LOL
Works Great!
Would RecommendThis thing is awesome. Super handy and convenient. I use it in the house, garage and even when I'm cooking - can read temps in my smoker and the oil in my pan. Great item to have around the house, super easy to use.
Easy to use - Very accurate
Would RecommendWonderful tool for verifying temperatures are where they should be. Operation is as easy as pointing the tool at the object needing temperature verification, and pulling the trigger. Holding the trigger allows the user to view a rising or falling temperature, while releasing the trigger locks the last reading onto the screen. I have used it recently to verify temperatures in my seed germination box which should always be about 90F for optimal seed germination. Also came in handy to verify output a...
A Tool For Every Toolbox
I think I’m going to like this tool! It has a nice feel to it – not heavy at all, ergonomic grip. Classic blue and black Kobalt colors. The color digital display is large and easy to read. It will measure temps in Centigrade and Fahrenheit, with push of a button switching between the two. Response is virtually instant and holds the most recent reading when the trigger is released. Handy auto shut off for extended battery life. Start up takes about 2-3 seconds when the trigger is first pulled aft...
