Special screw driver
Would Not RecommendYes, the batteries were included but not the special screwdriver needed to install the batteries. The screwdriver necessary was not one the average person has in their tool box. The screw was a deep set Phillips the size needed for something like eyeglasses.

Another unit I have had in the past only had a single dot. Laser can be turned on and off. Nicely illuminated screen can be seen easily in low light. Feels solid.
