Scribes very well.
Would RecommendGood design for applying high pressure to the scribe. It might be better if it had a metal ball on one end for breaking the glass along the scribed line. This did not work well on 1/4" heavy glass and I ended having to break the entire window into small pieces with multiple, terrible shards. However, it must be said that I am an amateur with glass panes.
