Just Stop Running

This weed eater is only used when I do not feel like pulling out my eclectic cord to use my Ryobi Eclectic Weed Eater. The convivence of a battery power for small jobs. The battery was fully charged and stop while using.

replacement parts not available. Will never buy Kobalt products again.

Trimmer head is horrible

The trimmer itself does an adequate job. I do have to stop often to pull the string lines out of the trimmer head. However, getting that trimmer head off is extremely difficult. Now I can't even get it off. I bought it at Lowe's in 2022 so it should still be covered under warranty. I would not buy a Kobalt stringer again

Horrible

We bought this weed eater and it’s been a nightmare from day one the string you’re always constantly fighting too much or not enough having to rewind it spend all your time fighting with a string. I would not recommend it. Just bought a Black & Decker already. It’s so much but easier.

Frustration

I have now had this long enough that I can say it is an exercise in frustration when attempting to get more string. It unravels, it doesn't bump feed as it shouls, and uses a great deal of string due to the feed issues, which costs money. I would not purchase this again, and if I could, I would return it.

This is a good cost effective product, that I happened to snag on clearance.

Broken and box was opened and top of box was missing. Battery has been banged up and looks like item has already been used

Almost great

I like this trimmer for its light weight and quiet operation. It has been great for me. Until I have to replace the string. The spool cover is very difficult to get off. It takes quite a bit of strength to push in both cover releases and pull the cap off. I end up having to wait for help.

Finally easy

Love the battery powered tools. Easy to use and no cords. Is good for what we need it for. So far has been a joy to use. Pretty light to hold and is not too loud cuts wonderfully.

higher maintenance than I expected

Had a wonderful corded B&D one for years, so thought I was upgrading. I have to stop every ten minutes or so to re-feed the line. Its a pain. Thre line either breaks or the bumping has to be constant. I've tried pre-wound Kobalt spools (which seem to have line melted together so it snaps when pulled) and wound line myself. Same issues. I should have paid extra for self- winding or gone EGO, but need to get more of my money's worth on this one before doing so now.

It light and worked well straight out of the box.

Liked the product. It is light with plenty of power. Did not receive battery or charger with order.

Lightweight and Dependable

I've had this for around 6 months now and my only issue has been the auto string feeder. Other than that, it has taken care of all my weed eating needs.
