What Customers Are Saying
The tool is efficient at cutting various types of plastic pipes up to 2-3/8" in diameter, including PVC, CPVC, PP, PEX, PE, and POLY. It can make smooth, clean, and straight cuts with minimal effort. However, it may struggle with thicker or older pipes, and users have reported occasional difficulty achieving perfectly straight cuts, especially on larger diameter pipes. The blade's durability and availability of replacement blades have also been a concern for some users.

Would Not RecommendI thought this was an amazing tool after using it twice or three times. Then it started to get really hard to use and finally it just started busting the pipe instead of cutting it. I bought new blades and experience the same- cuts two or three perfectly then starts to bust them. I tried to exchange for the more expensive version but Lowe's refused since it had been over 90 days.

Good PVC Cutters
Good handheld cutter for up to 2” PVC pipe. Works great on standard schedule 40, requires a little twisting on thin wall PVC to initiate a cut. Cut clean and square.

Any ok cutter for occasional home projects
Would RecommendSo the best part of this cutter is that its solidly built and less than half the price of others available at Lowes. Its sharp enough to cut, easy to use, and accomplishes the task. The flip side is that the locking mechanism for this is loose and the handles retain a space between, so 1 bump/jiggle/nudge means they pop back open- so they really must be watched around kids & pets. I ended up taping them closed when I was finished with them, too worried theyd pop open in our tools spot and a kid ...

can cut 2" pvc
Would RecommendCuts 2" and smaller pvc. It takes both of my hands for 2", but it does the job every time.
