Would Not RecommendIt does make it easy to cut up to 2 inch PVC pipe but it doesn't make a clean 90 degree cut. It does do better on smaller pipe as I was also cutting 1 1/2 inch pipe as well. I tried it on some older pipe and the pipe broke before it cut. I found using a saw worked best. This tool is nice to have but not when you want to make a straight 90 degree cut.

Would Not RecommendBrand new, fresh out of the package, this does not cut either 2" or 1 1/2" PVC SCH 40 straight. Waste of money, would not recommend this - would return it had I known before opening it.

Would Not RecommendBought this tube cutter after lending my old one to a friend. We all know how that goes. Kobalt item 2146974 wasn't up to the task of cutting the sink tailpieces. They just shattered. I will keep this pvc cutter, but only use with PEX or soft hoses.
