STRONG GRIP REQUIRED

Tough time cutting 2” pipe-even tougher getting a straight cut. 1 1/2-cut ok.

Works but you need a strong pair of hands.

Bought the 2-inch cutter and used it to cut 1.5-inch PVC 40 pipe. This tool slices thru the pipe and requires two hands at first. Becomes a lot easier when halfway thru the pipe. Gave a nice clean cut when finished.

I love this tool. Never knew it existed. Previously, i used a hand saw with lousy results

Great with new pvc. Not so great with old pvc.

Great with new pvc. Not so much with old pvc that's been in the wall for years. Bought this, hoping to just clip the pipe in the wall, but ended up getting out a multitool to cut it. This tool cracked the first one I did. It did great with new pipe, so this will work well for stub-outs, and new work. Just not so much for existing lines.

it cuts the sizes it suggest it sometimes will like to crush not cut if that makes since

Do not buy it if you intend to cut 2" pvc.

This cutter is not made to cut 2" pvc. It takes quite a bit of stregth to cut it after it perforates it. As for pvc that is already installed it is even harder and useless. I do not recommend this product.

Great Kobalt PVC Cutters

Worked as expected. Had to buy a new pair since I have misplaced mine and we had to cut pipe for my mom's shower that broke.

PVC cutter

Fast easy to use wish I would have bought this the first time I purchased a cutter it’s one of those tools you think you won’t use again but if you own a house or do a little DIY I recommend you get it from the get go. I had originally purchased a small cutter but proved to be to small when I needed to do some more plumbing work. So now I have two cutters and one dose the job of both.

Not so much a cutter as a crusher.

Doesn't provide clean cuts, it just crushes the pipe. I used it 3 times and all three times it simply crushed and shattered the pipe leaving jagged edges. Maybe it would be better with a new blade but I honestly don't want to invest the money in it. I would have been better off spending money on hacksaw or sawzall blades.

Very strong and durable!

Well, I bought one for my Son in Law for Christmas and he loved it. I really liked it so much at the time, i even bought myself one just like it. Really like it very much.

Cuts PVC like butter

I use this tool all the time and it saves so much time. It cuts so smooth and clean. Saves time on clean up due to normal method of cutting being a saw the leaves shavings. Best cutter and price.

Wasn't Sure But Worked Great

After reading several reviews about broken pipe and crooked cuts I was a bit leery to purchase it. I had to make about 2 dozen or so cuts in 1-1/2" PVC Schedule 40 pipe and this cutter worked flawlessly. Easy to cut and perfect cuts. Great timesaver.

Straight cuts

Ability to cut 1 1/2” schd 40 pvc but requires a fair amount of strength

Inconsistent cuts

Tested this on schedule 40 PVC 1.5 inch pipe before doing a small project. Some were smooth, clean cuts. Some broke and were jagged. Back to the store for this product.
