For the price it does everything I need and more. Does not come with a case, you'd need to buy one. I do like how they included the battery however.

This tester has been great! I figured it was a bit overkill for my needs at the moment, which is just running a few drops of cat6 for security cameras, but I couldn't pass up the cost/value. Validating the cables has worked flawlessly. The ability to check the length of the cable has been useful and seems pretty accurate. I can't wait until the need arises to use the other features like line tracing and coax testing.

More than just a tester, it has loads of features

I'm not a professional, I just use it for DIY projects. It works great for testing ethernet cables and it will tell you if the cable has opens, shorts, or split pairs. I like that it comes with dongles for helping to identify which cables led to which ports throughout my house. It also measure cable length. I put an RJ45 on the tail end of my box of cable, so now I can always easily measure how much wire is remaining.

A lot better than other brands

My first Klein tester was the basic one but later I exchanged it with this one and I am glad I made the right decision. Flawless and perfect like other Klein products.

This device has many features, and even comes with a manual. It's easy to test the continuity of cables with this.

Very versatile good for cable, rj45, 12, and 11.

Extremely easy to use, visual issues make it so much better than pass or fail, money well spent in my opinion.
