A little finicky

Bottom line, if I used this enough I think I'd pay another hundred bucks for a two way articulated camera with better resolution off the jungle site. Holding and operating it is kind of finicky with the short flimsy usb cable. I wish it was more similar to their "pro" model camera cable, that one is the same flexible metal cable all the way to the usb connection. Holding it with one hand and manipulating the cable with the other, while trying to keep agood connection to the phone whilethe heavy ...

Bulky

Worked as described. Only thing i would change would be making a longer cord that goes to the phone. The camera cable is heavy making is sometimes difficult to hold and adjust while holding your phone. Almoat need three hands.

works perfect

I don't know if they've made changes to this compared to what it was like a couple years ago, however, the app IS on the Play store, it downloaded in seconds, immediately came up and told me to plug in the camera, I did, and it works perfect. I had it out of the box and was using it in under a minute. can't beat that price, excellent quality.

Phone hookup isnt long enough, makes it hard to use as metal cable is very stiff. Not the best for small engines, cant really see the side walls. Maybe in a bigger motor it is possible.

Camera works well enough, picture isn't the clearest but for the price it's not bad. As others have mentioned, the cord between the controller and your phone could be longer, would probably make it a bit easier to use but all in all this is a great bang for buck

As other reviews have said. there are limitations. Fixed focus, useful only in a narrow area, around 2 inches is probably fine. App definitely needs some refinement, I didn't have any issues, downloaded, plugged in borescope and worked fine. Don't try to hold phone leave on the ground or somewhere and just snake the cord through. Think some of the disconnects others mentioned are because of the connection coming loose while holding the phone. Tried on a 6" vent duct and could maneuver the cam...

Camera is fine, app needs work

I bought this last night to try and diagnose a shower drain issue. I did a bunch of research before buying and knew the app can be a problem. I have Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra running Android 14. I experienced what others have, the app launches when i plug the camera in, but when you try to view images get an error that no device is found. I ended up downloading a 3rd party borescope app from the app store and that solved the issue. Once I had a functional app the device worked just as advertised...

For the money and ease of use it a bargain.

Picture is good. Lighting is very directional. No off/ on switch.
