Great adorable tool for viewing inside plumbing

This product is simple and works great. Because you do have to hold the cord in the phone, it becomes a two person job. Other than that, it's as simple as downloading the app to get an instant view.

Very Useful tool

Wow, so easy to use. download the app and plug in. so many uses for it. we are going to look up at the floor joists. Good for looking at underside of cars, in engines, etc...

GREAT TOOL, PAIN TO USE.

I have actually owned this for almost 4 years. I use it about once a quarter for every thing from helping trouble shoot mechanical problems on the farm equipment to looking down drain pipes to figure out drain problems. Unfortunately you have to be a tech wizard to get the app to work on the phone, but it works great on the laptop. Unfortunately that means taking the laptop out into the field in wet and dirty conditions to use it occasionally. If the phone app worked better it would absolutely...

Works just as described using Pixel 7 phone.

I like that it functioned well with no difficulties getting it to work with my phone. I do wish there was a better way to keep the end of it straight (so it doesn't have a weird angle after pushing through something like a pipe bend) but that is not really a product issue.

I really wanted to like this product. When it remains connected to the phone it works great. The image quality is good. The LED light is adequate. The apps image capture and video recording is easy to use and very useful. However it's almost impossible to keep the USB cord from slight wiggling, which disconnects the borescope from the phone. It's very frustrating to have spent so much effort to fish the scope to the area you need to view only to have it disconnect. Now you have to abandon y...

Paid for itself on first use!

Bought this after having to do a blind search inside a machine at work to look for a mill tool. After reaching nearly shoulder deep in the back of the machine to prove to supervisor it was not there, my partner and I decided we were done searching this way! Found this on the app and very next day same situation on different machine. Same boss telling us we had to do a blind search again. We respectfully said no. Whipped this out and found the missing tool in less than 5 minutes.

Works intermittently if at all

The ET16 is about the most frustrating device ever produced. It occasionally works flawlessly. 90% of the time, however, it doesn't work at all. If it never worked I would conclude there must be a problem with the hardware. The fact that it occasionally works makes me think the Android app is the problem. I've tried multiple android devices. It will not work reliably on any of them. Klein offers no explanation/assistance. Look elsewhere.

Launch App Before Connecting Camera

There was a period of time when my (newer) phone didn't recognize the camera - my original one always did but newer updates broke the connectivity. However, it seems that 1) the app has been updated and is directly available from the Google Play store and 2) once I see the screen prompting for me to connect the camera, it once again works!
