Love this range

Beautiful but not functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this oven. It's sleek and has great lines. However it takes forever to heat up. Always looks dirty because of the rubberized outer liner. Crumbs dictate to the crevases and I am always wiping it. The dots on the cook top appear like crumbs you didn't clean.

Stainless steel door streaks

Just year old and outside on the streaks developed very cheep stainless steel for such expensive range, not my first kitchen aid range, my old range never had this kind of issue, very disappointed kitchen aid, you always been premium stainless steel not sure what happened

Great oven and features

Worst slide in I ever owned......

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the KitchenAid slide‑in range I chose your brand because of its reputation for quality and reliability, but this product has fallen far below even the most basic expectations. From the start, the range has consistently underperformed and created ongoing issues cloudy glass top even cleaning after every use, the stove has been inpossabile to clean even after 5 times per your instuctions no appliance at this price point should ...

Excellent slide-in appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still learning all the features, but so far I am very pleased with this slide-in appliance! The most recent feature I used was the aqua lift cleaning system. It was so easy to use and did a great job!

New stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the stove. It seems to work well. My only negative would be it seems to take a bit longer to preheat to temperature. Maybe because it is also a convection oven. I would purchase again

oven not working properly

3 weeks old

very disappointed so far w a slight hope for some better results, used oven 6 times and still smells when on very distinctive, quality of top is fragile to say the least alreay a nick in glass, the top front stainless is not very durable already has scratches its raised from glass top so if yo slide pan back it hits metal and causes nicks, scratches. again hope it gets better with more use but would expect better from Kitchenaid

Can’t maintain cook temp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When set to Bake @.350 the oven drifted down to 315 then back to 363 degrees. Had to add 30 min to the cook time for a pumpkin pie

Stove great stove so far

Love the Look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the Kitchenaid Double over I loved that one too. If you do purchase this oven and you do not have 3 Racks Call Kitchenaid and request the 3rd rack! Love the aesthetic of this oven. I put a stainless backsplash in behind it. Performance is similar to the double oven as far as cooking. Was able to slide all the way back to the wall. Cant wait to try the steam feature.

Garbage

We bought this range in 2016 because it looks great. It's a terrible appliance. The self-cleaning function is a joke. The icons on the top indicating which knob controls which burner wore off long ago. We do not clean aggressively; it's just poorly conceived. The controls are not intuitive at all. Clearly it was designed by people who don't cook. Run away!!

Beautiful Range

Terrible Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New home,range was put in by Builder. Huge gap in the back where anything falls down behind stove. Valleys all around edge of range top which makes it impossible to clean . One must use a hand vac before wiping . All the controls are right in front and if you slightly touch one while stirring or cooking ,the oven or other controls immediately go on. It sticks out further than cabinets and has opening on sides up to counters

Lots of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I bought a range with a learning curve. I still haven't figured out all of the features since there is no manual it is all trial and error, mostly error.

Disappointed

I am so disappointed in this range. It works and bakes fine but the steam "self cleaning" is a joke. I'm working as hard as my mother in 1955 who had no self cleaning option. The steam does not clean. It leaves all the baked on pie drippings etc. I have to use oven cleaner and elbow grease to remove the baked on stuff. I should have been warned by KitchenAid and the dealer--both said nothing about the downside of this Green option.
