Dishwasher kitchenaid

Very quiet when running.

But this dishwasher it will not disappoint

Super quiet, cleans like a dream, dries dishes completely with no spots on the glass. I was looking at a Bosch, and after talking to the salesman, I'm so glad I chose this KitchenAid. Well worth the money.

Love it

Very well built, does the job well and (nearly) silently. We had a previous iteration of this, with the flat 3rd rack. It was too shallow and mostly in the way so we had just removed it. The 3rd rack on this one is actually useful. The automatic door popper is also a great add-on.

Arrives damaged....two in a row.

Over a month ago we purchased a similar dishwasher from Lowe's and when removing the protective cardboard box we discovered that the back of the dishwasher had been damaged and from the look of the damage it appeared as thought the damage was caused when the unit was moved with a forklift or similar machine. Creases on the outside of the box matched up with the damage to the dishwasher. We returned it and ordered another. It took nearly a month for the second dishwasher to arrive at our local...

Loud and very long dry cycles

This dishwasher is really loud and has long dry cycles on normal settings. For a normal wash with standard dry options, it generally takes 4 hours to complete a load of dishes. I called maintenance for the loud, almost constant sounds. While there, he suggested I turn the hot water on in my sink first to heat up the water and see if that shortens the cycle at all. It cleans the dishes fine but you have to be willing to put up with the noise. I expected a quieter, shorter experience. I’m disappoi...

Disappointing.

Thought this was going to be so good but it has been a let down. If you don’t scrub all food off the plates it will bake the food on during the drying cycle. Requires you put dishes in that are fully scrubbed of food debris.

Red End Caps on Handle

Very little notice when purchasing that the end caps on the dishwasher handle are bright RED - Very ugly on a stainless washer in a white kitchen. To make matters worse it is $200 to swap out the handle. I am never buying Kitchen Aid again.

Worth the investment!

Wow! Never invested this much into a dishwasher before. With toddlers and random sized dishes, this is great! It has a sleek third rack for bottles, small cups, and all the oddball cooking utensils fit. Middle rack has two height adjustments. Thought that was never going to be used. Wrong of course. My favorite little feature is the automatic door open at then end of a wash!

Very nice and quiet dishwasher

I like the three levels of trays and flexibility. I wish the handle was interchangeable with the arc'ed one on other KitchenAid appliances for a more consistent look and feel.

Top-of-the-line dishwasher great size 3 shelf so efficient lots of room even love the food disposal system!

Perfect

This machine is perfection. So quiet. Perfect for various sizes of cookware. Cleans better than any other dishwasher I have owned previously. Will be purchasing another for our mountain home.
