I purchased this stove in 2019. In April of this year I had to replace the computer module at a cost of $600. In September the part again malfunctioned. I currently have one burner that works. Kitchen Aid only warranties this very expensive part for 30 days. I have tried to contact the company but it is impossible to reach an actual person. Very disappointing.

Disappointing

First, the dimensions at the bottom are wider than what the space requirements call for and I had to move a lower cabinet to fit it in. Second, it is overly complicated and operating instructions are poor. Third, it gets very very hot in one spot on the back grill which worries me a lot but apparently is normal. Finally the silicone around the outside of the cooktop traps crumbs and is difficult to clean...

Rapide et réactif

Great when it worked

Great when it worked. Ours was blowing breakers about 19 months into ownership. They couldn't fix it after 6 weeks of it not working so it's being reimbursed. Luckily we got the extended warranty.

Safety hazard.

The stainless steel front and top where the digital controls are, (front panel) was so hot that you could not put your hand on it. So easy for an accident to happen whether it is an adult or child. No documentation manual

There is a small chip in the glass top that I didn't see until the delivery guys left and when I went online to find the manual, it shows no documents available for my model. I'm sure it has great features, I just don't know how to use them.

Overall great product

The touch controls and display will take some getting used to as they are finicky if they get wet or something hot is near them. I love how fast water boils but I find the automatic boil setting is slower than just setting at the high temperature. We also love the air fry function!

Overall works fine and easy to cleanup spills

While the controls are easy to get used to, like others have stated they are sometimes too sensitive. As an example if you have a pot of water boil over slightly and try to mop up the spill with a towel it will generally turn all stove elements off. Perfect Roast Chicken

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was committed to gas cooking…and when it came time to replace my oven, I explored induction and was drawn to it for environment reasons. I’m sold on it, have found the stovetop as responsive, similar to gas in terms of control. The acid test for me is roast chicken. It was perfect and uniformly brown in my new oven. I’m looking forward to Christmas baking!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this range about a month ago and are loving it. It’s fast to heat up your pots and only the area that the pot sits. Love the easy clean up top. The oven bake evenly and love the rolling rack. Haven’t used the air fryer yet but sure it will measure up also.

Slow to preheat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks very nice, somewhat difficult to clean the exterior stainless (not fingerprint resistant). Not at all happy about oven preheating, takes much too long to preheat. I have not tried the air fry feature yet. Cooktop works well, love induction top.

Good range but you’re on your own to figure it out

The manual tells you way more than you need to know about the air fryer function (which I’ll never use) and cleaning the oven (good to know but 1st thing? Tell me how to turn it on first. And there’s nothing about the lock function, which seems to kick in frequently.

Still deciding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this about a month ago. After installation and first use of oven, discovered that the oven fan did not work! Now waiting on service to correct this problem. Does not speak well for in factory quality control nor testing.

Can't find anything I don't like

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very pleased with this range. It replaced a VERY expensive range and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The oven is so quiet that I have to keep checking it is on. Because the oven is bigger, I was afraid it would take longer to heat, but it doesn't. The induction burners are hotter than my previous induction range even though their rating is less, Very pleased!!!

Electronic/computer issues

We have had this product for two years and have had problems with it. First, we had beeping that wouldn’t stop, so we had to unplug it and plug it back on. That’s happened several times. Now the burners shut off as soon as I start them, it beeps every thirty seconds when I use the oven, and twice it started beeping during the night — for hours. Looks good but…
