Subject to cracking in normal use

I own the KF26 and this bowl is subject to cracking when fastening in place on the mixer. It renders the mixer useless. Back to our 5 qt version:(

Glass bowl cracked

Beautiful bowl, but it cracked along the bottom and now I need to find another to fit this kitchenaid mixer. SO sad

Awful bowl

I bought this stand mixer some years back and I love it however when it comes to using this bowl it cracks or breaks with a handful of uses. I’ve replaced it several times! I’m to the point I may go to an competitor.

Why isn't "zero stars" an option???

Bowl does not fit attachment for my metal bowl and I was actually going to return the bowl and purchase the package with the glass bowl and glass bowl attachments that fit. BUT, the online return doesn't work, online chat msg says it's unavailable (during the hours the web site says it is), AND customer service will not answer the phone. I'd rather mix things by hand than spend another dime on Kitchen Aid. Thanks for ruining a Christmas gift!

6 quart glass bowl

bad product: my 6 quart glass bowl does not fit my 6 quart mix master.

You must buy completely different blades for glass

Completely frustrated that my new glass bowl requires different blades that are NOT interchangeable with my metal bowls. Looking back, there is a note that it needs F series accessories, but NO WHERE is it clear that my current blades won't work. Highly disappointed.

Nice mixer. Terrible bowl.

We got this mixer as a wedding gift 5 years ago. It works fine, and the pasta attachments are great. But honestly the bowl is a bit big for the amount of baking we do, but even using it only a little bit, the bowl chipped 3 years ago. Would love a stainless steel bowl, especially if a smaller one would fit this machine. I’d even buy other paddles etc if needed.

Less than a year after light and careful use, I have another cracked bowl.

Poor quality, do not buy

Didn’t even drop it and the glass bowl broke. Hardly got any use out of it and now they charge exorbitant prices for a glass bowl that will not last.

Disappointed with Glass Bowl

I bought my 6 quart stand mixer in December 2016 and used it for about a year and a half until the glass bowl got a small chip on the inside from the attachments hitting against the glass. Although it is a small chip, I could not risk using it any further in fear of possible other chips that might contaminate my food items. Bowl is terrible

I bought this a few years ago, with minimal use. I pitched the glass bowl because I thought it was so pretty. I went to use it the other day and it has a crack. I have no idea how that happened, so sad and so frustrating. Note I have to purchase a new bowl.

glass bowl breaks

January 22, 2022 I am a hobbyist baker and my daughter and I spend many hours together baking. It's our thing. For Christmas, I received the Kitchen Aid pro stand mixer with the glass bowl. Broken glass bowl

I have owned this Kitchenaid mixer for a year now. I always hand wash the glass bowl because I don"t want to risk it in the dishwasher. As I was washing this yesterday the spout on the bowl just cracked off and is now unusable. I don't understand how this thick glass can break so easily! Very disappointed. I spent a lot of money on this mixer.

Could be better

I bought this mixer 7 years ago and I now have time to really use it since I'm retired. It is very frustrating that the attachments (whisk, paddle etc.) do not reach the bottom of the bowl. Do you all plan on having longer attachments? Also when are you going to have replacement bowls. You make beautiful ceramic bowls with patterns/designs for the other mixers but nothing for the F series.

Poor glass quality

Disappointing !! The beater doesn’t reach the bottom of the bowl to mix the ingredients . I noticed a small crack on the top of the bowl while washing it and couldn’t find a replacement . This is not a cheap mixer ! I feel like I threw my money in the trash

Disappointing Mixer and bowl

This bowl and the very expensive mixer I bought that came with it is a huge disappointment. It doesn't mix well and this bowl that is beautiful is worthless. I have a very heavy, very expensive mixer I can't use the very purpose of a mix. To mix things. Just like other reviews most of the dry ingredients sit on the bottom of the bowl, a scraper attachment I bought for the bowl doesn't fit properly or work. Extremely Dissapointed with Quality

This bowl is not in line with the quality I associate with KitchenAid products. I loved my five qt mixer and decided to upgrade to the 6-qt. The glass bowl was a unique feature that I thought would be fun to use. After only 6 months of careful use and handwashing, the bowl cracked from the inside. Sadly, I cannot use my mixer until I get a replacement. No Bueno!

Was excited to get a bigger, expensive stand mixer, however, the glass bowl cracked while simply washing it in our sink. I am Nana to 5 kiddos and we bake together. Glass Bowl Broke

I loved the option of the glass bowl so I can see how everything is mixing together, however the glass bowl spout area broke from just hand cleaning it before I even had it a year.
