Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster does a nice job, and I especially like the way the crumb tray removes easily. I could do without the ding to let me know toast is up!

Burns toast on 1 setting

Only BURNS Toast I’ve owned this toaster for about 5 months now ... and it’s the WORST small appliance I’ve ever had. It only Burns toast, set on lowest (1) setting it’s on the edge of burnt, set it on 1.5 and toast is Black, set it on 4 one time and toast almost caught fire. KitchenAid needs to trash this toaster and start over, I have many many other KitchenAid appliances and accessories with NO complaints.

Excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as I am the owner of a 30 year old Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer If this toaster last as long as my mixer, I have bought my last toaster. It is easy to use, toasts wonderfully and the audio tones are perfect.

The more expensive the better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster as a quick alternative to what I had before in Europe, which was a higher end item of the Kitchen Aid family and I was a bit disappointed.....but I am loyal to the brand and it does not change my overall opinion about Kitchen Aid. I can only confirm that it is only worth buying the more sophisticated, more expensive items

Super Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old toaster went out so I decided to kit the Kitchen aid to replace it. At first just wanted it so it would match the decor with my wife mixer. But was I in for a surprise when we actually started using it. This thing make perfect toast just how you want it. This toaster is awesome!

Expected better!

With a name like KitchenAid, I thought I was buying a quality toaster. However, the lowest setting on this toaster toasts the bread too dark. And, it toasts one side of the bread dark, and the other side is hardly toasted. I got this because my husband wanted to get rid of our old Sunbeam toaster. He wanted to buy a Cuisinart (I thought it was cheap-looking) but I held out for the KitchenAid because of its looks and its brand name. Boy, was I wrong. Never judge a "toaster" by its cover.

Terrible

Never consistent Browning toast. One side different from other. Took first one back and second one does the same so returning it also. I give it minus stars.

Simple features--all that I need.

Toasts extremely evenly

Bye bye burnt toast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a toaster that doesn't burn my toast! I have had many toasters over the years. They all burn the toast so easily, especially on the second consecutive use (or more). Bye bye burnt toast!

Burns toast

Bought this toaster about a month ago to give it a fair chance. The "shade" dial is worthless unless you want your toast "more" burnt! On setting "one" regular slices of toast come out dark brown or sometimes burnt black on one side or both. Setting 2 is burnt. Didn't bother testing setting 3, 4 and 5. It is best to stand by the toaster and hit the cancel button if you like your toast golden brown and not burnt. Surprisingly the "Bagel" button works well on setting one. Inside of bagel is gol...

Great Toaster

Nice even toasting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed this toaster for about a month so far. It toasts evenly on both sides. We have no complaints. It is always a plus when a toaster lifts the item being toasted above the slot. It would be a perfect toaster if it lifted it a little higher. I recommend it and would purchase again.

Good look, but doesn't last long

I liked this toaster until it recently decided to only start toasting one side. We've had it ~10 months. Disappointed because I generally love our KitchenAid appliances- especially their dishwashers.

Great toaster

Great Toaster

Disappointing

I received this as a Christmas gift last year. It looks beautiful on the counter, but performs poorly. As other reviewers have commented, it toasts very unevenly. My husband uses it the most to make frozen waffles on the weekends. He has to toast it on the lowest setting, flip it, toast it again, and hope it doesn’t burn (which 95% of the time it does).
