Does the job in a decent way

I bought this range a year ago and have had no problems with it at all.I do find the the pre heat leaves a bit to be desired as I had a Jenn Air before and the rapid pre heat for the oven was nice. Also I can honestly say the aqua lift is useless. Give me self clean and all its smell any day. I get what they are trying to do but really it doesn't work

Best Range ever purchased

The design is beautiful and has great innovation incorporated with this model. As to the performance its superior by far to my previous range it is very efficient.

Did not meet expectations

We have had this for at least 2 years and it is completely disappointing. Absolutely no temperature control for the top it's like everything is hot or hotter. Owned 2 glass top ovens prior to this and never had this problem. The main mother board has been replaced at least twice. Rust spots appearing in the stainless.Location of the controls on top is a constant source of aggravation. Self cleaning feature is not very useful. Difficult to control

I've had this range oven for over a year now. The stove is very difficult to control, takes a long time to get to its heat and when it does, it is extremely hot. I never cook anything over medium heat, even a steak that requires searing. Anything above medium will burn in no time and even medium will burn food quickly if not watched diligently. The triple size element is only good for boiling water - all three element sizes are on one knob which provides so little control that it is useless ...

Great oven

Kitchenmaid Range

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought new appliances for our remodelled kitchen. We purchased the Kitchenmaid slide in electric stove. We've only had it a little while and like it so far. We wish that the timer alarm was louder but I can live with it. The oven has good capacity but the I would have preferred storage drawer instead of 'over' for a small cookie tray. I suppose it would be fine to bake smaller items. Over all, we're satisfied with the range.

Looks better than it works

The range looks great and that's what sold it for us. Once it was home, however, our excitement soon faded. The stove top gets too hot for most uses, other than for boiling water. To cook basically anything, you need to use the absolute lowest possible setting or your food will burn. On the contrary, the oven takes forever to heat up, often requiring 20 mins to reach 375 degrees and then will run for another 45 mins after your cooking is done to cool down, with the fan inside the oven running th...

Sleek with Great Performance

Love this range. It is so sleek and I love that it doesn't have those distinct round rings for the burner placement. Very stylish. It works better than I expected. Perfect!

Love my stove
