Faulty "Function" switch/fire hazard

I've owned my convection toaster oven for just under a year, and purchased it for Kitchenaid's perceived superior quality standards. Just like other reviewers mentioned, the "Function" knob became stuck a few months after purchase. Nice product, a couple warts

I bought this toaster/oven a few weeks ago. So far so good. I have one observation and one concern: 1. It toasts slowly, and seems unable to give a really dark result. One may need to add more toasting time after the bell for additional color. 2. It smells. I'd seen other owners comment on the odor burn in time... Great compact oven

I discovered the KitchenAid oven online, which broils/bakes/toast, fits his needs perfectly. The price was within his budget too. The baked and broiled chicken was perfect and the grilled cheese sandwich came out great. Because it has its own rack and broiler tray/rack, you really don't have to buy additional pans or cooking trays....

Replacement unit

Burns all my food

Bought this oven about a year ago and it has never cooked anything right. I'm an avid baker and never have I burned food so bad. I had adjusted the temperature down just to compensate for the fact that this is convection but everything burned but the inside of the food is still not cooked fully. I suspected the temperature of the oven is off so I actually checked with a laser thermometer and found the oven to be over 500F when I set it to 350F. Because of this I have only used the oven 4-5 times...

Needed a big one but not to big

Excellent size and capacity...

I did bake some ribs that turned out very well. This is our first toaster oven and am hoping for more dinner successes!

OK But not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an old one that the temp. was stuck on 450. This is smaller than I thought and it does not tell you in the description that when using the bake function the top burner is always on with convection on. I feel it is more like a broiler than a baker, even when using the middle position as suggested. So far I am disappointed.

Great for quick food cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine for almost one year. Use it daily for the grand kids, it is convenient and very versatile for snacks and quick meals. It quit one day but KitchenAid replaced it as it was under warranty . Love this little oven!
