EASY TO USE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THIS A FEW MONTHS AGO FOR MY NEW HOME. I’VE NEVER HAD A TOASTER OVEN AND THOUGHT THIS ONE WOULD FIT THE BILL. NO NEED TO WARM UP THE KITCHEN WITH YOUR OVEN WHEN YOU HAVE THIS.

Great Oven

Roomy and Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I particularly like the flexible rack settings.. And the roomy interior and great dials. I can toast numerous slices of bread at once and just roasted a chicken... Hardly use my oven anymore!

Breaks easy

Received this as a wedding gift. Used it twice, and by the third time it broke. Now it does not turn on. We didn't open it until we bought a house over a year later so the warranty is gone. To get it repaired, we'd have to drive about an hour. Such a poor product to break so quickly.

Worst expensive toaster oven

I have been using this toaster oven for a month. Wish I would have never spent the money on it. I was looking for a bigger toaster oven as the one I had only had one shelf and I use it daily. So I was super excited to get this bigger one. Sadly I am supper disappointed. The toaster function is horrible it takes forever just to get a slight toast/ light brown color and it only gets the top of the bread. Smells and was smoking first use

I just plugged it in and it smelled weird I was trying to make toast and it did smoke some. I also got confused because now I’m wondering if I can even use it because I have it on the counter just left of a gas stove not touching it a foot away from the same counter - is okay and safe ? I have nowhere else to place it except on that counter and in the user manual it said do not place near a gas stove so I’m a little bit confused

Works great when it works

Got this as a gift earlier in the year. It works really well for baking and toasting without heating up my main oven. The problem is the oven function stopped working, it just doesnt heat up anymore. The funny thing is the toasting function still works. Would be nice if I could get it work fully again!

Disappointed in quality

This is my 3rd one in a year. All are replaced under warrenty but really shouldn't have to have 3 in a year! The last 2 were within 2 months and failed from same issue. Tired of boxing up and sending back for exchange. Will try a different brand now.

Plug gets very HOT while in use & door not even

This ovens plug/cord gets very hot while in use & my actual wall receptical gets very hot as well. I'm concerned that this is a fire hazard & should be thrown out. I have written to Kitchenaid asking for a replacement, so I will see what they say. Very disappointed after paying a lot of money for this oven.

Bad Quality

I bought this oven on 3/28/17, today is 10/26/18, just 1 year and not quite 9 months and the oven no longer work. First, about two months ago the function control started sticking and at times it was hard to turn. Now it just died, and no longer works. I bought a KitchenAid toaster oven because the company’s reputation for quality, also I own a stand mixer and are very happy with it. I never expected KitchenAid to market a oven of such low quality.

Love It!

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the automatic shut off and the Bing to let you know when your meal is done. The only thing that disappointed me was the short cord. That meant I had to move it to a different location than what I originally planned, and that meant I had to move other things as well. Not my favorite solution as I have a very small kitchen, but I still love the oven!

Great while it lasted

This really is a nice little oven for quick heating of frozen snacks or rolls. Too bad the wire on the timer/power switch melted off after about 18 months.... no replacement parts available, so now it is garbage.

Stopped working after about a year.

First toaster function stopped working. Then bake and warm. Finally the broil. Based on other reviews here, there clearly is a problem with the design of the function selector. You can get a compact oven for a lot cheaper and will last you a life time. This expensive unit seems to die in about a year or two in a lot of the cases.

Great Potential.... Poor Quality Control

Just received my QVC TSV and apart from a bent crumb tray, I've also found there is not a tight seal around the top of the door and I can see into the oven, which will mean a loss of heat and efficiency. I'll now need to go through the inconvenience of asking my sister to return it as she ordered it as a present for me. Very very disappointing!
