Works as promised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 3rd toaster within a year, we really like it. It actually toasts evenly, top and bottom of the bread or muffin. I can't speak to longevity since we have only had a week. So far, so Good

Burnt toast

I bought this toaster and the lowest setting burns my toast.We try to remember popping the toaster early but we get busy and forget alot. I don't want to have to purchase a different toaster but I might have to do that. Did I find a lemon? I owned a different kitchen aid toaster before this and never had an issue with it until it stopped working after 10 years.

Very nice toaster

I bought this model nearly six years ago and it has had regular use without any trouble. It is not the fastest toaster, but it’s everything comes out evenly toasted. I use the bagel button frequently with not only bagels but also hamburger buns and it doesn’t crush the bun unlike the previous toaster it replaced. Overall it’s a solid anpplia and looks good on my counter top.

Finally found a good one

It makes toasting any kind of bread or bagel a cinch. it provides even toasting on both sides, crisp on the outside , nice and soft on the inside, what more could you want? This is a keeper.

Beautiful Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple to use and very large slots for bagels and english muffins. However, the "Shade" controls are set very high. I'm glad I selected only 2.5 for my trial run because my toast came out dark, dark brown. I'm not brave enough to try the 5 setting! Most of my toasted items are perfect at the 2 setting. I don't think I'll ever need the 3, 4, or 5...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toaster looks good, toasts evenly. It seems to be much slower than the toaster it replaced. Toasting two slices or four at a time, no difference. The wires barely glow.

Lovely, Freat Quality 4-Slice Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased this toaster which is quite heavy (substantial) and very good quality. Only downside I have found is that it doesn’t have the option to toast anything frozen!

not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the toasting is accomplished on small areas of a slice of bread. Since the toaster is quite new that fact is unacceptable. The toaster is hardly a "cheapy" and that makes the fault even worse.

Did not last 1 year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked fine when we first got the toaster but after 23 weeks, the lever wouldn’t go down on one side, and after six months would not toast the bread properly had to return and get another one. Hopefully this one will last longer than one year.

Was a gift

Looks good, but dead after 21 months

Beyond warranty, though it's been operating with difficulty for six months. Push the lever down, it doesn't stay down (on one side). Just won't turn on on that side. Waste of money.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Worst customer service ever!! I've been trying to reach customer service for a week, but I can't find a contact person. I tried to reach them via chat and phone but no one answered. I just need a return label, please get in touch with me if you see this review!! I want you to know that when you order any product from Kitchenaid, it will be very difficult to contact customer service.

Looks better than it works

I just received my toaster and plugged it in. Starts smoking and smells like burning plastic (everything had already been removed from the toaster). My husband said it was just because of new coils. Ok, well then I put 2 frozen waffles on 3, burnt. Put 2 new ones in on 1, perfect. Then decided to test a piece of bread since it wasn't frozen. Put one in on 1 and came out burnt. I am not pleased that I spent all this money on a toaster that I cannot make toast in.

I love the release lever.

Excellent Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster has a very good design. It has a high lift feature to take out the toast when done. It rings a bell to let you know when the toast is finished. There is a feature that lets you secure unneeded electrical cord discreetly underneath. The bagel feature toasts the inside while leaving the outside soft.
