Would Not RecommendI bought this toasted to replace a Black & Decker brand. I would say this is equally garbage as well. While this toaster is handsome, it doesn't do it's job. The 4-slice toaster I purchased will ONLY toast 2-slices at once. If I try to use the other two slots at the same time, it bleeps and pops up the toast seconds later. Completely useless.

Bummed with Burned Everything
Didn't want to rush to judgement, but after a few months owning this toaster, the verdict is in. The shade levels are whack. Level 1 is usually blackened toast and while I can't imagine using it, 5 is probably a setting for toast cremation. We have many other KitchenAid items, but this one doesn't seem to meet brand standards except maybe for the exterior look.

Poorly designed - can't toast a PopTart
Would Not RecommendJust bought this and tried it twice. It's going right back to the store. It is not designed to hold and toast a Pop Tart. The Pop Tart is too skinny to fit in the holder which won't close and therefore won't turn on to start the toasting process. It's wide enough supposedly to toast bagels, which I haven't tried. Worked fine on bread, but honestly how hard is that? Bottom line....if your household wants to toast more than bread and bagels, like Pop Tarts, this is definitely NOT the toaster f...

Love the duel settings

This is a large toaster which takes up a lot of space. It also has a loud ding when your toast is done, which doesn’t seem necessary. It works ok, but nothing special. Mostly looks nice on my counter but probably not worth the money.

Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as I redid my kitchen last year and needed a new toaster. Doesn’t toast well, need to do it twice. Also am quite unhappy with my expensive fridge. Makes a ton of noise, my old 35 year old GE in the garage is a lot quieter and roomier. Kitchenaid doesn’t live up to its former name of good appliances.
