Great stove and oven!

It is fun cooking with this unit! The temperature controls are great. The knobs are nice and are easy to tell when a burner is off. Keypad and touch controls work well and are easy to read. Clean look and easy to clean. I'm happy :)

Range works fine

What I don't like is the noise the blow fan makes coming through the vent system. It is a continuous whistle the whole time the oven is on. It is not the convection fan. This can't be normal. Been told by company that that is normal. I find it hard to believe.

This range is both attractive and functional.

The greatest feature for me is the stove top,I love that is sits above the countertop and has beveled edges making clean up extremly easy.

Nice Range

I enjoy cooking on the range. My first electric one in years. Fan to cool electronics could be a little quieter. Oven cooks great. Stove top nice. Cleans easily. I did my own installation. Quick and easy.

Doesn't go the distance.

Purchased this about 2 1/2 years ago. First thing I noticed was you need to keep the directions book on hand because unless you use certain cooking features on a regular basis you won't remember how to use them. The different cooking features it has could be a bit different so when you look at the touch panel you can tell exactly what to do for each feature. Another problem I've had is when I clean the stove the ink wipes off the knobs. Now the left rear cooking element quit working yesterday. I...

The exhaust fan on this range is very annoying

The range came with a scratched cooktop which had to be replaced immediately. Then I found that the exhaust fan made a very high pitched noise when the oven was on. I was finally able to get that replaced , although I was told it would probably not be much better.... it is definitely better, but I would certainly not buy another Kitchen Aid range of this kind. Finally even though I have removed one rack, it still takes 20 minutes to preheat to a 350 temperature, a very long time.

This product has great featurs

We had to replace the entire circuit board 3 times & the 4th time I said no way. We want a new Range. Lucky for us we had an extended warranty------that is the only way to go. This Range the set up; is more user friendly----easy to set up the clock----temp settings------clean oven. Great look and performance.

Looks great in my new kitchen and is easy to use and clean. Burners and oven heat fast and evenly. Looking forward to baking for the holidays. Thank goodness for the control lock as controls are easily pushed but no worry with the lock. The door is much lighter and easier to open than my old one which is easier to manage. Only negative so far is that the control labels are small and difficult to read but easy once you learn them.

This oven is well designed.

I like the flexible configurations of the stove top, allowing for different size pots and pans to heat more efficiently. Smart idea. I also like the ease of use of the oven and the many convenience features of this product.

Disappointed

The stove top and oven work fine... Nothing above average. The control panel has already had to be replaced and knobs for stove top have been replaced twice due to lettering wearing off. Just not what I would expect for the price.

Excellent product.

Have enjoyed using this product. The range of heat controls is especially sensitive so that simmer is actually simmer and warm does just what it says without having to constantly check that the food is not getting over done. Conventional oven works fine, but a little slow to reach the programmed temperature. Not a big issue, though. Cook top very easy to clean. Haven't used the convection feature yet, but plan to for Thanksgiving.

The only downfall to this product is if you lean up against it you can reprogram it.

Sleek design and great features, BUT...

Have only had the stove for a month and hadn't used the oven yet. I can't believe how loud the fan is! I even had it checked by a repair person. It's just not loud, but shrill. He said all KA are loud. Is this true? It can't be fixed? So all reviewers have loud fans? Isn't that something people would mention? Maybe this doesn't bother many people because very few reviews mention this. I like the design and features, but am a little disappointed.

This product has great features

I have 2 problems with this range: (1) If one walks too close to the front of the range the led numbers/words light up. You have to be cautious after cleaning it; and (2) the oven takes quite awhile heating up.

This product is very well designed

I love my range, it's sharp looking, easy to use & clean. I love the warming drawer feature as my husband seldom makes in to dinner on time! Cooking is a real passion of mine, with my new range it's even more fun!!

Very sleek design with great results.

I replaced my range from 1994. Needless to say they have come a long way. The smooth top is easy to clean. I have used the easy convect feature several times and the dishes tasted great! We are very satisfied.
