The Kitchen Aide dishwasher

Love it! Super quiet! Cleans dishes really well! They come out dry, no water spots. The only thing I don’t care for is the silverware holder. You have to put each in individually.

Good Dishwasher

This dishwasher is similar to my old 25 year dishwasher that was a Kitchenaid. I know they don't make them like they use to, built to last. it has a rinse only button, a must for me and the 4 hour delay button. It load dishes easily. So far I am satisfied with thei diswasher.

Door Spring Failure

If you want to be intimately acquainted with your dishwasher after your first anniversary, this model is for you! Door hinge spring popped off at 14 months and it's not a pleasant repair. Apparently, it's designed to fail at this point (see comments in this repair video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqMC25fYe_E&t=322s

Poor installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was a leak after it was installed and caused floor damage. I am in the process of addressing the floor situation but it is something I think that should have been covered.

Rusted side rails!!!

After 15 months of use the side rails where the basket pulls out started rusting. I just got off the phone with kitchenaid about this, they refuse to send me parts to replace because its out of the 12 months warranty. VERY DISSAPOINTED in such a large company and an expensive purchase, I didn't think a $1000 dishwasher would rust so fast and them refusing to send parts, but they want me to purchase them. Again I'm very unhappy with kitchenaid as a company, very disappointed and very sad........

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a little disappointed in the noise level as this is louder than my previous KitchenAid dishwasher. Also, the dishes do not always completely dry. I have called a few times to the dealer but they tell me this is normal and it does not dry plastics. One more thing, they brought the wrong dishwasher the first time when it was supposed to be this dishwasher. Luckily, I caught it was wrong before they brought it into my home.

Good value = dont spend extra on the super quiet

Good value. Didnt need it to be ultra-ultra quiet. This dishwasher is plenty quiet. Can barely hear it as is.

Great when it worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this dishwasher for less than 3 months and stopped working, gives an error code that is not on the manual, or on the website. No one we have called knows what this error means nor what to do to repair it. I've been told 3 different things "might" be the problem. There shouldn't even be a problem this soon into ownership.
