Quiet ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third KitchenAid icemaker we've owned and all made great ice and were so quiet. This one has a pump for water flow and you wouldn't know it because it's so quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a KitchenAid undercounter ice maker several years and liked it so much we replaced it with another Kitchenaid this year. It makes clear, square ice cubes, which we love for cocktails and insulated water bottles. We bought the model with the drain pump and it's a little noisier than our last model, which is our only complaint. But again, love the clear ice, convenience, easy cleaning, and quality of the ice maker. Thank you!

The perfect tiny clear cube

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite ice. I am a bit of an ice nut. Clear cut cubes are the only kind of ice maker I would have. I advise keeping up with the cleaning schedule. The ice maker will tell you when. You can avoid very expensive repairs.

For the most part it does what it is supposed to.

The ice is broken up though and not as nice as it should be for 2 months old.... . I had hoped for better quality than I got, but if it will just last at least 5 years that would be a win. Kitchen Aid used to be real quality stuff with great customer service, somewhere along the line the customer became something of a bother. So long as it works ...

Our New Kitchenaid Icemaker

Under counter ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a Scotsman. Much quieter and faster. The only criticism is an annoying sound originating near the top. It sounds like something might be wrong with the unit. Not natural. We turn the unit off during the day to avoid the noise.

Automatic Ice Maker that Works

I had seen this icemaker work and it fit the dimensions of the space in the undercounter basement bar. Had to be sure it has a pump for the ice maker water discharge. new ice maker making annoying sounds

Don’t buy KitchenAid products. You will have to spend more time with repairs than using the product. Best part is, their one year manufacturer’s warranty does not cover the manufacturing defect and malfunctions!

Kitchen Aid ice maker

A few new features on the new unit, the rapid 24 hr. cycle, are nice. So far the new unit is ok. I broke the male nipple at the top of the drain pump trying to connect the drain hose.
