Great Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant about purchasing this toaster because of some of the reviews, but my daughter has it and loves it. I decided to try it and am so glad I did. It toasts evenly on both sides. Very easy to adjust the browning and love the little ding so you know when it's ready. Hands down the best toaster I've ever had!

Not what one expects from KitehenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A gift for Christmas. It cooks 2x more on inside area of toaster. One side of bread is almost burnt with the other side OK. Very uneven toasting...

Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Kitchen Aid toaster died after about 10 years, so it was time to replace it. I decided to stick with Kitchen Aid, and I am glad I did. The new, updated model works great, even toasts better than the old one. Great features, easy to use and clean. Maybe this one will also last 10 years!

Toaster Review not so happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it 2 weeks ago and it's everything that kitchen aid said it would be. We've used it with bread and bagels. Outstanding results. Easy to control doneness. The fashion of it fits the look of our kitchen also. Highly recommend.

One Setting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you turn the "Shade" dial any higher than 1, you'll burn your toast. 2 is burnt, 3 is black and I imagine that 4 or 5 would probably set your bread on fire. A little "tunability" would have been nice.

Best toaster ever!

It's a toaster, yes, but a toaster that works and does what it is designed to do! I've had other toasted that wood burn toast or not toast at all, so far this thing is awesome!

terrible for the money

Got this as a wedding gift, and couldn't be more disappointed. I love all the other KitchenAid brand products I have. This toaster toasts bread unevenly, and we have to jiggle the handle and repeatedly push down on it for 5 minutes before the inside mechanism will keep the bread down. We'll be looking for a new toaster...

toasts well

Burns toast on 1 setting

Only BURNS Toast I’ve owned this toaster for about 5 months now ... and it’s the WORST small appliance I’ve ever had. It only Burns toast, set on lowest (1) setting it’s on the edge of burnt, set it on 1.5 and toast is Black, set it on 4 one time and toast almost caught fire. KitchenAid needs to trash this toaster and start over, I have many many other KitchenAid appliances and accessories with NO complaints.

Excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as I am the owner of a 30 year old Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer If this toaster last as long as my mixer, I have bought my last toaster. It is easy to use, toasts wonderfully and the audio tones are perfect.

The more expensive the better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster as a quick alternative to what I had before in Europe, which was a higher end item of the Kitchen Aid family and I was a bit disappointed.....but I am loyal to the brand and it does not change my overall opinion about Kitchen Aid. I can only confirm that it is only worth buying the more sophisticated, more expensive items

Super Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old toaster went out so I decided to kit the Kitchen aid to replace it. At first just wanted it so it would match the decor with my wife mixer. But was I in for a surprise when we actually started using it. This thing make perfect toast just how you want it. This toaster is awesome!

Expected better!

With a name like KitchenAid, I thought I was buying a quality toaster. However, the lowest setting on this toaster toasts the bread too dark. And, it toasts one side of the bread dark, and the other side is hardly toasted. I got this because my husband wanted to get rid of our old Sunbeam toaster. He wanted to buy a Cuisinart (I thought it was cheap-looking) but I held out for the KitchenAid because of its looks and its brand name. Boy, was I wrong. Never judge a "toaster" by its cover.
