Poor service. Machine is junk

If I could give this 0 stars I would. It has never worked since day of install. Did not receive the airfryer basket despite ordering twice. Repair man tried to fix machine as per instructions by the company. In the end we were told unit will be replaced. That was 8 months ago. No word from company or repair man. Unable to reach repair company now after trying many times.

Air fry pan was not included

It needs to be ordered when you register your microwave. I waited 30 days to register hoping the pan was available but since 12/29/25 it says the pan is unavailable. Great Unit

Upgrade

We like the microwave

Why no manual?

I recently replaced a Fisher and Paykel microwave because it was underpowerd and then it quit working entirely when I used the convection part. Sadley, I bought Kitchen Aid KMBP100ESS to replace it. I would NEVER imagined Kitch Aid would make a large built in microwave that is a 900 watt. Not only that but it did not come with a manual. I am 80. I cannot figure it out myself. I lookd for the tag on the inside where they usually are found. but no, it is on the UPPER RIM of the door opening....

Ridiculous Design…NOT A GOOD PRODUCT

I bought this microwave unit as part of a match ing set w new built in oven to replace our older KA set of same dimensions. The KA oven is great, but this new model microwave is such a disappointment. The inside light as so dim You cannot see what you’re cooking. We bought it right at a year ago, and the light went out, and it cannot be replaced without hiring a technician to come out and completely remove the microwave and the circuit board to access & replace the teeny, single, dim light....

Defective door

Quick start for one minute is malfunctioning

When we use the start button to get one minute, sometimes it starts right up but most often the screen shows Start? We then hit start and it repeatedly shows Start? Once this is resolved, we will be thrilled!

Could have better features

I bought this microwave about 1 year ago. Its ok, but for the high price, it could be better. I had a Whirlpool Convection microwave previously that performed great over a 6 year period, so for this brand and price, i really expected the same performance. Great oven, but long wait!

However, the months I waited for it on back order along with warming drawer and the wait I am still waiting for crisper trey is outrageous. I don’t understand how a great company like kitchenaid allows these service issues to damage their brand.
