Would RecommendThe big nut on the old one cracked and the whole thing fell off. This one with the thumb screws was easy to replace. only needed a piece of putty tape. All under 20 dollars.

We just replaced our sink drain with one of these. My husband liked how easy it was to install. However, he had a problem with the seal for the tailpipe. The nut washer appeared to be too thin so he ran out of thread before the nut was completely tightened resulting in the seal leaking. He found an additional thin washer and added that. No more leak. I, on the other hand, do not like the nut threads on the inside of the drain. I feel it will start to discolor and not stay clean. As I said, ti...

I have never had these type of bakers leak like the type with the big nut. Wish they were just a little stiffer. Seems like tightening bracket used to be heavier duty. Gets a 4 star rating though.
