Would RecommendI really like the way it mounts compared to the old screw on ring. At least this one should not require cutting off to take out.

Easy to install, even a woman can do it.
Would RecommendI had a handy man install a sink that I bought from Lowe's about 6 years ago. It was beginning to leak underneath the sink where this attaches under the sink. I replaced them with two of these because I was told by my professional plumber several months ago that these are easier to install, especially if you are by yourself. I removed the old ones that were leaking and installed these, all by myself. I am a 60+ year old woman. If I can do it, any one can. They haven't leaked and it has bee...

Easy to put in
Would RecommendMy only problem with this is that the basket sits too low and does not allow water to drain fast enough

Perfect replacement
Would RecommendEasy to install. Used plenty of plumbers putty to ensure a good seal. Thumb screws made tightening down easy with even pressure around metal ring. Basket is good construction and fits well in the drain. Would purchase again.

Easy to install
Would RecommendI like this design much better than the standard bottom screw on types. Its much easier to install and better yet, much easier to uninstall down the road when it needs changing. Biggest difference whether installing or changing it that it can be done by one person from under the sink. The other screw on type typically needs two people, one working under the sink and other holding holding the strainer from the top. For me all these strainer baskets should be changed to this style.

Great quality strainer
Would RecommendCould not find a single replacement strainer that had slot shaped peg. Bought this kit under 10 and the strainer fits perfectly in the old drain. Matches oem size and design. Absolutely no water seepage. Perfect and just what I was looking for. Saved the spare drain kit if I ever need it

Better Design
Would RecommendThis design will be much easier to remove and seems to be more secure than the standard screw-on ring design. The ring design can be nearly impossible to remove, as my most recent experience with one demonstrated.

replacement strainer
Would RecommendI recently had a new sink installed and preferred to purchase my own strainer rather than likely pay more for one provided by my plumber. This seems to fit the bill.

No brainer for DIY sink strainer replacement
Would RecommendIf you have to replace a sink strainer, I find this type of fixed post strainer to be much easier to install than the kind that require a large nut to be tightened sufficiently to ensure water tightness in the sink strainer connection. With the three posts/thumb screws, you can really tighten the parts together squeezing the plumbers putty between the strainer top and the sink surface and know you've got a good fit. This particular model is pretty cheaply made, something you might use in rental ...

Excellent Replacement So Far
Would RecommendHad to replace our kitchen's old strainer. With wingnuts instead of one giant ring nut, I would believe this would be a much better alternative in case I would have to replace that strainer if I still own the house (I don't know typically how long these strainers last, but this should be a 10 year replacement at least, right?).

sink drain
Would RecommendI needed to replace a drain that was 35 years old. This new sink strainer got the job done. Easy to install. It's not as heavy as the old one, hope it lasts as long as the old one. The price was real reasonable.

fixed post sink drainer
Would RecommendThis product was easy to use. The tighteners were what made me buy this particular product and it was well worth the extra dollar.

Water loves it!!
Would RecommendThis drain is the best thing ever made. Easiest thing I've ever installed. Love the shape... Round. Beats the heck out of fighting one of those triangular drains. Three second installation, one for each step. 1) Take out old drain. 2) Put in new drain. 3) Hook up trap. Plus, water goes through it and out of the sink! No more water refusing to go down the drain, going all over the floor, or turning into flesh-burning acid and spraying back into your face. Seriously though... Pretty easy to instal...

Fastest drain install ever
Would RecommendFar and away the easiest way to install a drain I've ever seen. Didn't have tools other than a crescent wrench and this let me install it tool free.
