Nice toilet seat!

This seat is very nice looking, and I really like the fact that it slowly closes on its own.

No Slam Seat

This seat performs noiselessly. It was a replacement for a seat that broke after 3 years of guest room use, and the best feature is that it snaps on/off. It took me longer to unwrap the seat than it did to reinstall it, and I love this feature, both for cleaning and replacing.The seat comes in a variety of styles to provide the owner a choice in appearance.

Poor Design

The hinges are poorly designed. The seat will not stay in position because the hinges do not hold the seat in position.

Nice seat

I purchased this particular model because of it's quick disconnect feature. The seat can be easily removed for cleaning...no need to unscrew it...it clips on and off.

great toilet seat

It fits great. It has a soft touch close-just let it go and it shuts down without slamming. You can also clean it very easily by removing the two caps that hold it on, and slide the seat off. It just clips back on ,and you place the caps back on.The seat is a comfortable design-not just flat.

Very good product

Very good, easy to install, works well. Found a bit too much play or movement in the seat at the hinges.

What more does one want in a toilet seat?

Overall, the seat was easy to install, although it was a different attachment mechanism than previous seats. It could have used a tubular "shim" for the long bolt so as to eliminate the wobble, and the "ears" that attach the seat to the bowl were a bit flimsy and tended to spread when tightened down. I saved the previous attachment pieces in case this one doesn't hold up. Avoid this one. Cheaply made junk.

This one is poorly designed. It doesn't bolt down, it clips onto the suppled bolts. The problem is it keeps coming undone. It is not securely mounted to the bowl. I bought two of these less than a year ago. I am replacing the first one because the plastic tabs holding the cover on broke. The second one broke in the thin plastic area that secures the mount to the seat.

Bites the back of my legs!

Looks great when installed, but upon use, it bites the back of my legs. Curves inward too much! If it wasn't for spending $36 on it, I would take it back. It's sloped inward too much.

all toilets

all three toilets in my house have the slow-closing seats but the third had recently broken. thought I'd stay with similar style and the Kohler model was definitely a cut above. it is also nicely elongated with a larger opening for my big-butted friends. no more slapping noise either when seat is dropped.

Product Exceeded My Expectations

This product is durable and it was easy to install. Ireally like its design, and my wife likes it too. The price for this quality product was just rifgt.

Seat wobbles even when tightened

While this seat looks nice and is easy to install, it still wobbles from side-to-side even when tightened. While I'm a fan of Kohler products, I would not recommend this particular item.

Excellent Value with Top Line Features

First, this product was made and assembled in the USA. The fit and finish were excellent. Installation took all of ten minutes (remove old/install new). The only thing the customer has to do is press in some "bump stops" on the set. I did not know that it had the slow close feature when I made the purchase. There was no adjustment required and it's impressive to see in action. The suggestion was made to replace the others in the house with this seat.

thought is there BUT

The idea, the concept is great but the execution is poor. It continues to come loose. The plastic wing nuts do not keep the screws secure for more than a day. The seat constantly comes loose. For the one day it is tight, it's nice, does what's advertised to do, it's quiet etc. but it doesn't do you any good if the hinge keeps coming loose every other. day. If they could come up with a fix then it would be a nice product.
