Color chips easy

Not even 2 weeks into being installed in the sink the black finish already chipped off . When installed it looks beautiful and works well. But for the finish to chip so easily very disappointing

Paint flakes off

I purchased two of these at the end of November and the paint started flaking off within 2 weeks. I purchased Kohler thinking the quality would be good but I would not recommend this product to anyone.

poor quality

I bought this approximately two weeks ago. Installed and the finish is already peeling off. Bought the Kohler for their reputation. Very disappointed in this product

Paint chips off

Paint started to chip away after less than a week of use! It is very strange as nothing rubs against the area that has lost paint. This product is very expensive for something like this to happen. Very disappointed.

Duo Strainer set in Oil Rubbed Bronze - chipped in less than 6 months

I bought this set about 6 months ago when replacing the faucet with an oil rubbed bronze faucet. Looked great for 6 months, just got home from vacation & the one side has a huge chip out of it about 1/2" long x 1/8" where you clearly see the brass underneath. I have always used soft sponge with only soap-no harsh cleansers & no dropped items into the sink. I'm very unhappy that this happened so quickly-my sister in law has a Kohler white coated faucet & sink drain set that have weathered over 20...

Terrible!

I bought this expensive duostrainer because it matched all my Kohler faucets. After just a few months it is peeling.

Wrong Finish

I've attempted to purchase the K-8799-2BZ twice. Both times I've received R8799-C-BL. Returning to the store, they will only give me in-store credit that cannot be used online, and my local store does not stock the K-8799-2BZ so I won't be trying this a third time. Don't attempt to buy this. You will get matte black, even if you pay the $20 extra for oil rubbed bronze.

Matte black chips

We have the duo strainer in matte black as well as the disposal flange and trim. They both chipped within weeks of moving into our newly built home. We used the recommended Kohler cleaning products, sink grids and Dawn dish liquid.

Double disappointed

Got this drain in matte black and it looked great to match our faucets, but the finish started peeling after a few weeks. We returned it and got a new one only to have it peel within the first few days of very light use. I sincerely hope the finish holds up better on the faucets!

Disappointed

I bought it go have it match my recently purchased oil rubbed bronze Kholer faucet. But the strainer although it says its oil rubbed bronze it is NOT is plain black.

Black peels

We bought these drains to go with our new kitchen. Within a few months the black is peeling off. There was no hard scrubbing just dish soap was used. Very disappointing

disappointing black sink drain

We bought the Matte black duostrainer sink drain and strainer basket to go in our new gray kitchen sink in July. over the last two weeks pieces of the black have been peeling off the sink drain. We have been very careful with cleaning our new sink and drain. No scrubbing with anything abrasive. Only used sponge cloth and dawn dish liquid. So disappointed that it looks terrible after just a few months.

Looks beautiful, but black paint peels off!

We bought these when we purchased our black composite kitchen sink. They looked absolutely beautiful with the sink. My husband and I were always very careful cleaning the sink so as not to get scratches, per other reviews we read. After about 3-4 months we noticed some scratches, even though we were always careful. Once they started it just kept getting worse and worse. We don't know what to do! It looks awful but hate to pay that much and have it happen again.

Questionable Quality

Bought these 1 week ago, thought I bought a high quality item with Kohler name on it, but turns out I was wrong, coating peeling already, what a disappointment, my sink is a Kohler cast iron. I hope that holds up, kind of of worried that coating is going to be weak and start chipping as well
