Sink drain

Perfect drainage

Defective

Same as all the other 1 star reviews with the black finish. It’s peeling off after less than 2 years. This is one of two defective Kohler products in my brand new home. Both were bought and installed by a professional plumbing company.

Paint coming off very shortly after instillation, I would not recommend.

This thing is a piece off crap, less than a month installed, the paint was coming off. The paint first was coming off in the lower section, so it wasn't due to items rubbing against it. Then you could see the paint bubbling on the surface, and sure enough it is now coming off the rest of it. I also purchased a Fauset in matte black, I hope the same fate doesn't happen to it also. I will now purchase a new strainer from the company that I purchased the sink from.

High quality product

This Kitchen Sink strainer if of much higher quality than anything you can find at a hardware store. Plus , it fits a KOHLER sink better than any other type.

Finish will flake

Product Chipped the finish on itself, drain cap is steel with an o-ring. Doomed for failure

Solid drain - color closer to black

The drain is very solid and heavy duty. All the parts feel quality-made. The basket sits well in the drain hole and it’s easy to twist to plug the drain in order to fill the sink. I took off one star because we purchased the oil rubbed bronze color. It’s very dark- so much that I had to double check that we received the correct color. We did - it’s just that the oil rubbed bronze is very close to black. So it doesn’t exactly match our other oil rubbed bronze fixtures like the faucet and ...

Highly recommend these sinks baskets...

High quality, sturdy, fairly easy to install. I can tell I won't have issues with paint chipping/wearing off.

Not recommend

It is amazingly disappointing that the brass color in the item vanish after two days.
