What Customers Are Saying
This primer provides excellent adhesion and bonding, allowing paint to adhere well even on challenging surfaces like glossy, non-porous, or previously painted materials. It is easy to apply, dries quickly, and offers good coverage, often requiring only one or two coats. The low odor makes it suitable for use in occupied spaces, and cleanup is simple with just water. While more expensive than some alternatives, many felt the superior performance and adhesion made it worth the investment, especially for important projects.

Would RecommendI had a new metal door with a factory enamel-like coating. No other primer would stick to the door in preparation to paint it with a premium plus quality stain-blocker paint & primer enamel. Kilz Adhesion did the job and did not peel, and created a printable surface for enamel paint.

Great on painting mirrors!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I restyled (2) semi matching China cabinets, however 1 had a mirror in the back panel. To update the look, I painted over the mirror with Kilz Adhesion and then used latex paint over the Kilz. Turned out perfect using your product

Great Adhesion
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a professional for over 2 decades, both with contractors and private companies. We had a job , painting new plastic panels for a waterpark activity structure during a the covid shutdown of 2020. I needed a high adhesion primer that would adhere to plastic but also not lift or bubble, when finishing with an 2 part MEK based industrial, marine epoxy the customer picked out. Excellent finished job. !

Best Primer for Painting Cabinets - No Sanding!
Would RecommendThis is by far the absolute best primer for painting cabinets when you don’t sand off the top coat. If you washed the surface well enough, after this stuff cures (a little over a day, it will NOT come off.) Heaven forbid you don’t clean it off your skin or hair before the 24 hour mark … I have literally had to cut it out of my hair and use Goof Off to get it off my skin, it works that well. I sand it lightly before topcoating and get professional finishes. (Do not use it on freshly sanded oak...

This has to be the best primer ever made
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with Kilz Adhesion primer. I bought a house with walls and ceilings all painted with glossy paint. I like flat paint, so I'm repainting the whole house, but I have to use a primer first so that it sticks to the old glossy paint. I read online reviews saying how good Kilz Adhesion is, so I gave it a try. It's amazing. It goes on so smooth and opaque that I actually have fun painting it on, which is saying a lot! It just kind of slip...

Adhesion exterior primmer
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used as primer on 36 year old "Masonite" type siding. Power washed, sanded one coat Adhesion followed by two coats acrylic latex sold stain.. I tested Adhesion primer two years ago on the house and it outperformed two other high bond primers.

DIYer's Dream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently working on a furniture project and wanted to prime before painting. A couple of the pieces were a combination of wood, plastic, and laminate so I needed a primer that would stick to the entire thing without chipping or peeling. I was skeptical but bought the adhesion primer to give it a shot. This stuff is THICK, it has a batter like consistency but the application is surprisingly smooth. So far I've tried it on cured resin, plas...

Easy to use.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this product to cover two interior doors that had been painted with high gloss paint. The Adhesion Primer applied as easily as paint, dried quickly and I was able to then paint with a flat paint. It worked better than I hoped it would and the finish is beautiful. Used this also in the interior door frames. I highly recommend and appreciate this product.

Amazing Coverage
Would RecommendI've used this product to cover over oil based paint. The coverage is amazing. It only takes one coat to cover over the old paint. In comparison Zinsser 123 primer takes 3 coats to get the same coverage. It's totally worth the extra cost and the company has the best customer service I've ever experienced. I will never buy another brand of primer again.
