Good product

Used it to prime pink ceramic bathroom tile for painting without sanding. It adhered well except for a couple of small areas, over caulking, or on corners. I did use two coats to completely cover the old dark color, then used another white paint finishing coat.

So I ordered this from Home Depot and it has worked great! There have a few small bubbles but no one else will notice. I am so happy to be able to repurpose an old entertainment center into a pantry!

Excellent product

I have been very happy with the results and have had zero issues with the primer or the paint failing from use. I just wish it was easier to find. My local hardware store carrying it.

Slick cupboard fronts - Worked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had slick cupboard fronts and the frames, also, in my kitchen. I tried a different brand, and it had terrible adhesion. When I redid them a year later with Kilz Adhesion interior/exterior it adhered very well. I am so glad to not have to worry about doing them every year or two.

Met my needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the adhesion primer to use as a basecoat for painting a laminate dresser. I did have to use two coats for a smooth finish that doesn't show streaks and brush marks, but the product was sufficient for my needs. It's been about 3 years and the paint has held up well. The only mistake I made was putting the drawers back in before the paint and primer had fully cured and they stuck in a few places.

We have a house with many kinds of paint surfaces this primer solves all the common adhesion problems. Great stuff.

Saved me in painting my1905 plaster walls

Excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this product that was recommended by my contractor. My bathroom had hot pink tiles from 1955. This product bonded perfectly for the tile to be painted a modern color. My bathroom is now modern, fresh, and clean. Turned out great, no peeling, bathtub and shower area’s are looking great as well. Thanks Kilz for a great product!!

Adheres to oil based paints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kilz Adhesion will stick to oil-based paint without having to do scuff-sanding. After priming with Kilz Adhesion you can apply water/latex-based paint. This is the easiest way to go from oil-based trim to water/latex-based paint.
