Tree Spikes

I use these all the time. They are easy to use and work well in feeding the four trees I have on my property.

Easy to use

Very easy to use and they seem to work well. I use them twice a year to supplement regular fertilizing. Just be careful with storing them open in a high humidity environment. They will dissolve.

Worked great!

My October Glory trees are really greening up! The grass where the spikes went in is really green as well. Only downfall is spikes crumble easily even when the ground is wet and there's a pre-started hole.

Love these, they work great and no messy measuring!

Hard to install

Installed as per the instructions and the spikes broke into pieces. Wet the ground and drove the spikes using the caps provided using a rubber mallet. Spikes broke into pieces before they were half way into the ground. Ended up digging a hole in the ground and burying the broken up spikes. Maybe the ones I purchased from Lowes were old or mishandled.

River Birch

I transplanted this River Birch at 10’ tall 3 years ago in some very questionable clay-based soil. I watered it frequently and nourished it regularly with Jobes fertilizer spikes. It has more than doubled in height and is very healthy thanks to Jobes.

Easy to use with long-term results

Using a metal stake to make a starter hole for the fertilizer spike keeps the spike from cracking or chipping. The fertilizer blend is great for most trees, bushes and large plants.

Does The Job

Have used this product for three young trees for two season now because I wanted to spur the growth. If the grass around the places where these fertilizer spikes were placed at the tree roots is an indication of timed feeding, the trees are getting a splendid dose as well. Easy to place in the ground, these stakes provide an ongoing feeding cycle without the hassle of ongoing attention. Just make sure adequate water is provided and watch it grow.
