Not quite the same as my 20 yr. old GN1100, but close enough.

Replacing my 20 year old GN1100 hot water faucet is too expensive so I opted for this less expensive unit with a new tank included, The GN1100 started leaking around the pivot and did not appear serviceable. The new faucet works fine, but has some limitations in reach and it does not swivel. The old faucet has outlasted several tanks and now I have a backup tank for when my present tank dies, and It will at some point (usually about 3-5 years of hard use)..Replacement was fairly straightforward....

The ease of installation was great.

The lever action appears better than the pushbutton units. Hoping that it continues to work without issues. There was an issue with the copper feed tube. It wasn't long enough. I had to buy a Shark Bite coupler and an extra length of copper tubing.

Hot water

Positives: It provides hot water instantly and you can set the degrees of hotness. It is very attractive. Cons: The only issue I had was that the spigot and heater do not come as a package deal. When the plumber came he asked where the heater was and I had to call and order a correct heater to go with the spigot I bought and have him return. Not being a plumber I had no idea I needed to order more than just the style of spigot. I thought it would come with the heater. That added a lot to the co...

Easy installation, works great

This was my first installation of an instant hot water system. The instructions were clear, hookups were easy and reliable (no leaking tubes), and it works very well.

Poor design compared to previous product

Previous version worked great until started to dispense both hot water and air causing a serious burn hazard. Turns out there is some type valve inside that has failed and could not be replaced. Purchased new model and the following surprises occurred: the copper tubing to water supply was very short requiring to purchase an extension, attaching the dispenser to the counter required me to file standard hole opening to make larger since brass screw part not long enough to allow for the plastic co...

Not as good as the first

Original Instant Hot dispenser was great until the tank started leaking. Ordered a new complete dispenser system and installed it with no problem. The hot water won't get any hotter than 180 degrees. It takes about 20- 30 seconds to get any hot water out of it. Tried lowering the temp, venting the system, etc.. Still have to wait for water to dispense and rewarm it in the microwave to get the water hot enough.

I've had my Involve H-Wave hot water dispenser for a while (months) and my mother has had a similar product for years. We both LOVE it! Great for a quick hot cup of tea, for rinsing stubborn greasy food of a pan, getting water that's hot enough it boils quickly when needing a quick meal. And they have lasted. I highly recommend this product! I don't know what I did before we got it. The only negative is that it is a little tricky to install.

Great convenience

Awesome product, we use it multiple times a day, oatmeal, grits, and coffee in the morning, hot tea later in the day.

Love it! And watch out for leaks

The instahot is my favorite appliance in the whole of creation. I use it for making tea and coffee. It also provides a boost for boiling pasta or making rice. And I use the boiling water to clean fry pans and broiler pans after cooking. This is the fourth instahot I've purchased. Unfortunately, the tanks start to leak after a while, requiring replacement. Don't ruin your cabinetry by assuming the tanks are solid; leave a pan under them just in case.

Love the under counter on demand hot water! Coffee & tea in an instant! I would highly recommend getting one.

Our hot water dispenser stopped working. The plumber recommended Insinkerator as he had installed several. The insinkerator was about half the cost of the dispenser I had, altho it filtered both hot and cold watering now we just have filtered hot water I bought the unit at a local appliance store, the plumber installed it and it has been working fine since. 3rd one installed in this house for good reason!

#2 was to replace the one my parents had originally installed. It was too convenient not to replace, and #1 had lasted over 5 years. #2 outlasted the original, so I chose to stay with the same maker. The previous models had twist style handles, this one has a lever, and I like it much much better. Easier to use; looks better, and I suspect will last even longer. This faucet replaced an Insinkerator (same model) that failed. Since installing it has worked perfectly.

ISE- Much Needed

Love our ISE product. It is our third ISE and we definitely use it. Just wished the salesman asked if we wanted brushed stainless steel/chrome or not. I will attempt to brush up ours to match all the Brushed Stainless Steel in our kitchen. But we love it and glad we have it.

Fantastic Kichen Additiion

When our contractor suggested adding this device to our kitchen remodel I thought it was "fluff". Now I use it constantly for hot drinks. Much easier than microwaving.

Great product, very convenient

I have insinkerator hot water dispensers for 25+ years, and use it every day. They are not cheap and only last a few years, but when one wears out we buy another because they are so useful.

This dispenser delivers the very hottest water!

Our previous hot water dispenser (Franke - now discontinued) delivered hot water at 180F. The InSinkErator Involve H-Wave delivers hot water at 200F, and the heat setting is not at the top end of the rang; the extra 20 degrees makes a big difference in brewing tea. The water is STEAMING HOT! DIY Installation was very easy.
