Always hot and easy to add instant hot water

We're very pleased with our new home and the already installed InstaHot water. Always very hot and can adds instant hot water to a cup of tea or soup...no more tea pots on the stove...

Our hot water maker is a number of years old. The dispenser leaked so we had to replace it. The new one has different piping compared to the old one. I had to run to the hardware store twice to piece it together, but all good now.

Great product!

I recently had my hot water dispenser unit upgraded. It was installed by the plumber, but all went smoothly. The result is very fast heating (instant), nice looking fixture that has hot water available at the press of a lever. So nice not to have to put on a kettle for hot water!

Handle broke and I was advised I have to replace the entire unit

We had Model H-classic-SS-1 installed and the handle split within a year and a half. I called the 800 number to try to get a replacement handle and was advised that the handle cannot be repaired. I was told by Insinkerator's customer service department that I had to replace the entire unit. The unit itself works ok but not being able to replace the faucet handle is a definite design flaw.

Owned these for over 40 years.

This is a great item to have. Only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is that they have a tendency to not have a long life. I would guess this is my fifth or sixth one and maybe more. There are so many things that you can need instant hot water for. Hot tea, instant oatmeal, hot chocolate and on and on. I do love this item only wish they lasted longer. Company is great about standing behind their Warrantee.

pretty good

fairly easy install, mainly because I've had previous experience with installing 2 older models similar to this. A little concerned about the push button leaking problems after reading reviews. So will see what happens.

Love the readily available very hot water.

The faucet portion is not that easy to attach to the sink top. I was home and held it in a secure position while the installer inserted the necessary 'washer' and screw. I'm not certain just how this part of the task would, (or could) be accomplished single handedly. The connections for the boiler portion was very straight forward.

Saved my marriage

My wife is British and apparently they require a hot tea about every 30 minutes or so. I am not a tea drinker, so when I was tasked to fetch a cuppa, unfortunately my short attention span would allow me to turn on the kettle and walk away, only to be reminded 15 minutes later that I had not completed the task! Very convenient hot water demand system.

This is the 4th inSinkjErator water dispensing system that we have had in 12 years. It is always the tank that fails to heat water. One was covered under warranty but we had to pay for labor to do the installation, they seem to last on the average three years.Not sure if it’s the usage which I feel is moderate at best or our water where we live. Customer Support has always been friendly, helpful and outgoing. Hopefully the unit we just installed will last more than three years.

This product replace the one we had

Because it was a replacement with same older unit, the install was very easy. I had a friend help me because of my sore back. I was the tool passer. The install only took 20 minutes and there were no leaks.

The water is hot, but undrinkable

I had an InSinkErator automatic hot water dispense for decades, and loved it. Then I renovated my kitchen and put in a new one. What a mistake. There's some kind of coating on the inside of the unit that adds a foul chemical/plastic taste to the water. No matter how many times I've flushed out the tank, I can't get rid of the taste or the smell. I live in an area with beautiful-tasting water, so this is really shocking. The company was unhelpful. Product was what I expected

Product was what I expected except it did not have all the hardware to install it. It did not have the hardware to attach it to the cold water. Other than that it was fine.

Have owned a few over the years, easiest to install so far!!

My last one, after a few years of service suddenly began to hiss and got my attention. Luckly I was home, because the unit was so hot the water inside the tank was just turning to steam! I unplugged it and waited for it to cool down, before removing it. The stench of burned plastic took a few days to go away. I am an electician and know the scent of burned wires, this matched that. Hot water when you want it

Plumber replaced our old model (which was several years old) and this one is just as wonderful as the old one. I felt bereft for the few days that I was without an Instant Hot--made me realize just how much I depend on this product!

My last one lasted 10 years so no complaints here

I would not even think of a kitchen up date or remodel w/o this product. Have had one for 30 years or so and use it every day!!

This Instant Hot Water Dispenser has a Deadly Fault

The cold water line has a flow limiter that reduces the strength of the stream considerably. One can understand limiters for shower heads or even regular faucets, but a limiter in a small hot water dispenser is very frustrating! I don't recommend this product.

I just love my new InSinkErator hot water dispenser! The plumber said it was easy to install and the new contemporary look is great in the kitchen. We use it every day. Couldn't live without it!

This is my third insinkerator. I love this product. The only problem I had this time is that the model I wanted did not come in white. I always had a white insinkerator before this one and also have a white kitchen faucet. I was very disappointed that I could not find another one in white this time. Great Hot Water Dispenser

This is a great hot water dispenser. It is a little challenging to install, however. They need to include more hardware. I had to make 3 trips to the hardware store. Other than that, it works great. My wife and I just had a nice cup of Hot Chocolate,
