We like it.

Magnetic Control Cover is a bit tricky at first. Our previous model had an automatic switch that was linked to the system so it would only work when the water was turned on. It wouldn't work if dry which is very important.

A great product that has gotten even better

I had to replace my old insinkerator because the contact making part for the sink wasn't reliably connecting. I ordered a new one to be installed but the problem was the new model is slightly larger and boxier than the old so a pipe had to be moved to fit it under the sink. It was more expensive than planned and it was the only model that would work in my kitchen. The new model has a much heavier stopper and contact is much more reliable.

Great product

This model is quiet and is efficient. The cover control is agreat option, easy to ude and eliminates an 'on/off' switch.

Recommended

Seems well engineered. Relatively quiet. A car scissor jack helped elevate the unit up to its mounting ring, under sink.

Slight size difference

We needed to replace our older disposal because the cap strangely didn’t fit into the drain any longer. Odd? The plumber thinks the interior rusted and expanded. So we ordered a new replacement. The plumber told us we were lucky because the dimensions had changed slightly but he was able to install it. You should check dimensions if you have a limited space or existing pipes. Works great though and quieter than old one.

Works Well

Only used a couple of times. Quiet. Efficient. No tool provided to push garbage into disposal....gets messy.

Amazing!!!

This Insinkerator is an amazing appliance in my kitchen. As a matter of fact, I have them in two of my sinks! The horsepower grinds things down so quickly. Much better than my older ones. I highly recommend it.

The one problem we have with the product is the water flow when it is not grinding. It does not let the water drain as fast as the water flows from the faucet.

Excellent Product

This is my second Insinkerator disposal. The other one lasted over 10 years. This one works well, performs very quietly, and I expect it to last me for a long time. Customer service is wonderful too. Highly recommend.

Disposal replacement

I trusted my plumber to come with a disposal that he would choose for his own home. He was so right! Not only does it do what it is supposed to, but it is so quiet you can hardly hear it.

Great Unit

The instructions were very clear and the device easy to install especially since I was replacing a existing insinkerator which lasted over 20 years. More Quiet than any other disposal I have had or seen. Highly recommend this unit.

Adequate

Replaced a twelve year old unit that worked fine but the drain seal corroded and failed. Unit also stunk from previous homeowner not taking care of it. Which is why I’m surprised that once my plumber installed it I noticed that the water only drains when you run it. I feel this will only contribute to stagnate water being accumulated over time, creating a stench that will permeate through the drain line into my dishwasher. Works except for one problem

This unit does the job very well and is very quiet. The main problem I have is that when the stopper is in position to drain freely any amount of food waste tends to clog it up and I have to lift it out. There is just not enough clearance for water to drain freely.

Quiet and Effective

I did not install it myself. First box was missing a part, so I had to return it. But the disposal has been running great after one month, and I'm quite pleased I can hear the radio and kitchen conversation while it's running. I've had no problem with clogs or draining at this point. Seems a well-made and sturdy piece of equipment.

Product is well designed

Quiet feature is a great inhancement to a disposal . All features are great along with the ease if installation for home owners.

Could be a bit better.

Purchased this to replace an older model that had begun to leak at the connecter, which had cracked and could not be repaired.. The plumber had to reconfigure the piping for the connection, which upped the price of installation. It is quiet, however, my older model had a baffle so I wasn't staring down into a deep abyss of a garbage disposal. A baffle cannot be used with this model due to the depth of the cover control unit. This product has great features

This product was bought to replace an old Kenmore one. Was easy to replace with this one no changing pipes etc. Only problem the drain hose for connecting dishwasher didn't fit. Ordered another one online and everything was great. Very pleased, this one is so quite.
