Less satisfactory than a previous version

Clumsy metal stopper/switch is awkward and inconsistent in engagement. Lack of a rubber noise baffle is less desirable. Overall, a disappointment. Would not recommend if an older version can be repaired or located.

Much quieter than the previous one

Had an insinkerator which still worked after 20+/- years (had to replace because the switch was failing). New one has a much improved batch feed and is a lot quieter. Plumber installed it is less than an hour. Thanks.

The best 1 yet

I have bought a lot of garbages dispoeals and installed a lot. This one seems to have more power and is very quite.

Best Insinkerator yet

This is the latest in a long line of Insinkerator's we have had. So far, it is the best. This is a batch feed model so the on switch is in the cover. This is the first time we have had a magnetic switch rather than a mechanical one and it works very well. This is the quietest model ever. We are able to talk in a regular voice when it is running. It grinds a little slower than our old one did, but that is because it has 2 stage grinding so the food is ground up much finer than in our last one. Ou...

Great design

This new insinkerator is the most quiet disposal I have ever had. The plumber had no trouble installing it. The new magnet control is great, with no moving parts to get jammed up.

excellent replacement

our old garbage disposal (15 years) was loud and ineffective. We shopped around and reviewed on line and decided to go with the model insinkerator that we installed. This new unit was quiet and efficient beyond our expectations. With the drain plug in you can hardly hear it. Great product. .

Insinkerator

Great garburator. I don't know why we never got one before. A must in every kitchen. We have seen a 99% reduction of food related garbage since we installed the Insinkerator Sleek, discreet and pretty quiet.

Quiet

Really simple to install if you previously had an Insinkerator. Very quiet and almost no vibration. I highly recommend this product.

easy install, quiet

replaced an old Kitchen-Aid with this product. Easy to install but had to do adapt plumbing drain line slightly. Still, very easy to install without having to call a professional. Very quiet.

Wanted a straightforward swap with older ISE model. I got it!

Older ISE disposal had reached end of it's life. That model no longer made, but ISE website had a cross-reference to this cover control model. Went in w/o a hitch! New one is whisper quiet!!

Improved from my seventeen year old original. Very quiet. Insinkerator does not disappoint. Safe to use.

Very quiet!

My plumber recommended the Insinkerator brand when I was shopping for a new disposal. It is so much quieter than my previous Waste King disposal. He had no problem installing it and I find it very easy to operate.

When running the disposal, it is extremely quiet for a garbage disposal.

Previously, we did not have a batch disposal but an Incinerator that you use the electrical switch to turn it on. I actually like the batch now. This disposal is larger and I don't find turning it on an issue.

Quality product

Replacement for the same unit that was 10 years old. The replacement unit is 4 inches longer which forced me to demo the existing drainage pipe and install new drainage piping. Something that should have taken 10 minutes ended up taking 4 hours!

This is a great product

I haven’t had a new disposal in many years. I am surprised how quiet this one is; I barely hear going. It makes quick work of whatever I put into it. So far I just love it . I hope it will be with me for many years. The overall quality of the insinkerator is very good.
