Solid Disposal

I upgraded to this model after my old disposal started dying. It is a bit heavier and wider than the previous model so ensure you have the clearance prior to installation. I love how quiet yet powerful it seems. My only issue with it was the the dispense tube is a piece of crap and should have been reinforced for this specific application. A great product

The installation was straight forward and generally easy. The unit was heavier than my last Insinkerator but was expected due the increase in the horsepower rating of the motor and the low decibel rating. The new Insinkerator easily grinds up waste but what stood out the most was how quiet the unit is after disposing of food scraps.

Best Garbage Disposal Unit

I highly recommend this product, it really gets the job done. It is extremally quiet when running and has the power to blast through anything you put through it. I really appreciate how it is a more compact unit although its not tiny. The vibration of it is not as bad as my previous 1/3HP Badger. it is all about the 3/4HP unit. Thanks

Very Quiet, Very Powerful

We are very impressed with this model. Extremely quiet and very powerful. No worries about clogging.

Great Upgrade

We used this to replace our original, quite standard, contractor installed basic disposal. Compared to the original one, this is like having a Ferrari after driving a Ford Taurus. It's quiet, and effective. I had to measure and cut the pipe but wiring it and installing it was fairly easy as a DIY project.

New Install

This was a replacement for the same model Insinkerator .There was nothing wrong with the old one but faulty troubleshooting did not detect a bad wall switch until after the new unit was installed. The Insinkerator is very quiet. The XP unit grinds up the food put in quickly.

What a quality and super quiet product

The installation of this disposal was simple and pretty easy. The information for this disposal said it was quite and could even handle "chicken bones". Well, quiet it most certainly is. I am both surprised and very pleased at how quiet it truly is. As for "chicken bones", I have not tried that yet. I have disposed of everything else that could be processed for disposal with this unit. It does all a fast and quite job of disposal processing with ease. The garbage disposal is well worth the price...

Quite disposal

This is a perfect garbage disposal for my new kitchen renovation. I selected this disposal because it can grind up chicken bones! I haven’t tried this yet since I normally use boneless chicken but I do cut up a lot of thick vegetables such as broccoli and carrots. If it’s powerful enough to grind chicken bones, it will have no problem grinding the though broccoli stalks. Wonderful product

Wonderful garbage disposal and VERY quiet. Only suggested improvement would be to widen the hole in the waste pass thru gasket. It's so small that water along tends to back up in the sink when running wide open.

Powerful and quiet

This is the second time we have chosen this disposal, and I would recommend it to anyone. The first was in a house we built. Now we are in the midst of remodeling the kitchen in a new house and buying this disposal was a no-brainer. It is so quiet that we can easily carry on a conversation while this is on. My spouse actually didn't know I was running the disposal until they turned around a few nights ago. Installation was easy and straightforward.

Easy and quiet

Install was easy. Removed our 15 year old Insinkerator and mounted up the replacement in just a few minutes. Only catch I had was the existing Drain PVC needed to be a little shorter. So I had to do a quick cut to the new included PVC. SO much quieter too.

Very Strong & Quiet Disposal

This is my second time to purchase an InSinkErator Garbage Disposal. This purchase was to replace another brand of disposal in our current house, and we're extremely happy with the strong & quiet operation!

It's so quiet, you can barely hear it. It's a little on the large side and takes up more space than some, but it does a great job!
