Quiet Beast

This disposal is easy to install and is a beast. It very quielty eliminates tough food waste. Though I haven't tried yet, it will apparently even handle chicken bones!

So quiet, doesn't even sound like it's working. Very satisfied!

Great product - difficult install.

It was not a one man installation. I had a wide open cabinet and was replacing a Insinkerator model. Still took two people to swap out the disposal. But once installed, it was a very very quiet disposal.

Excellent Product

I am very pleased with this disposal. I replaced a smaller one which I thought worked fine however the difference is amazing. It is so much quieter and works so much more efficiently. The only problem I had was that because it was bigger I had to have the plumbing rerouted but that was nothing a plumber couldn’t fix. One of the features I was very surprised with is the fact that the baffle is removable! My previous one did not. (It doesn’t mention that in the literature) So much easier to clean....

Well worth it

My wife asked me why we needed to spend so much on a new garbage disposal. However, she completely understands after the installation. It is so much quieter than our old one, and we have not had a problem with it getting jammed; the benefit of going from 1/2 hp to a 5/8 hp garbage disposal.

Insinkerator is a first rate product

Our new Insinkerator replaced one that was fifteen years old. The old one was still functioning, but a botched re-installation by a guy who I never should have allowed in my home, damaged it beyond repair. I replaced it with this one, and installed it myself. If you own one you know how easy it is to do. We're looking forward to at least another fifteen years with this one. Great product, Insinkerator!

This garbage disposal is so quiet - its incredible. It works great and so so quiet.

So quietly powerful

This is the second time I have had this great disposal installed. I love how quickly our plumber was able to install it and the difference in sound was outstanding. I let a date seed slip into the disposal and I heard it slow down, reverse and then demolish it. My old disposal would have stopped and then I would have had to take out everything from under the sink, get the right tools to use and then get back on the floor to loosen it up and get it started again! I’m happy my mistake didn’t lead ...

Quiet & Powerful

This is actually my third Insinkerator. I burned out the motor on the one that was existing in our home (my fault - not the unit). I replaced it with an identical unit and it worked well for over five years, but I wanted something more powerful and quieter. We remodeled our kitchen and replaced the sink, so I went to my nearby box store and purchased the Evolution Space Saver XP. After looking at many different disposals, I found this one to be high quality and very quiet compared to my previous garbage disposal. It is well worth the little extra I paid for this quality and powerful disposal. It was also very easy to install.
