Product is ok

Purchased another device to replace one that I got about 3 years ago. First one started leaking and found out that the inside was rusted. The new device is already showing signs of rust around the grinder blades.

Excellent product and very quiet

After 20 years our original Insinkerator needed replacing. Reviewed the product offerings from Insinkerator and selected this model. The ease of installation was simple and straight forward. The product came with all hardware required. We selected this model for it's quiet operation and was surprised to hear just how quiet it really was. Highly recommend this product.

Great product....Very Quiet...Like the way it rotates in different directions each time it is started...helps keep it from getting jammed...much stronger than what was originally installed by builder.

Easier than i thought

So our old garbage disposal stopped working on a Sunday and I had nothing better to do so I took on the challenge of installing a new disposal. Since I was going to be doing it myself I splurged on a better disposal with the savings of not hiring a plumber. The Evolution Esteem Plus was surprising easy to install and is so much quieter than the previous unit we had. Since the actual function can not be seen, I will take Insinkerators word on the functionality claims. So far everything is working...

Quiet Disposal I Can Run Even at Night

Did not realize that my previous garbage disposal was so loud until the insinkerator experience.

I've always been a 1 HP disposal fan! Needless to say disposals can be quite loud when being used. I was shocked at how quiet the Evolution unit is. Insinkerator has always made a quality product and this one does not disappoint.

I like it

This replaced a Kenmore 400 which finally gave up. It was easy to install. The installer used the existing power cord. The hardest thing was holding up the weight of the unit to rotate it in place. This may seem trivial but I like that the stopper really works! The water stays in the sink until I choose to release it. The cheaper models didn’t hold as tightly. Love that it’s quiet.

Expensive and worth the expense. Very quiet and efficient. This is our second Evolution and believe it has been designed and manufactured better.

should have bought this brand sooner

Didn't realize a disposal could be so quiet. We had to replace an aging disposal and stayed with the same brand but the newest model. What a great choice! Can't even hear it when it's on. Looking forward to mega years of use.

Super quiet, Super Powerful

We love this disposal, it is so quiet compared to others we have had, you hardly know it’s running. Only issue was that I had to cut some pipes as it is larger than the others we have had in the past. Just a bit more time to install, and it worked perfectly after getting all the pipes back together!

This is the best garbage disposal I've ever had - and I've had several throughout my 75 years. It's unbelievably quiet and fast considering what it's chewing up.

Excellent unit

Picked this disposal as it looked like it was configured the same as the old unit. Easy one for one swap and back in service within an hour or so. When in use you can barely hear it.

I'm impressed

This our second 3/4 hp insinkerator. It is much quieter than the first and the rubber boot in the basket stops more water from splashing out. the the first one we had the first one for 13 years without a hiccup. We moved and bought a new one. 3/4 hp is plenty. I highly recommend insinkerator! We bought the air switch and mounted it on the counter top next to the sink, very convenient.

Best disposal I’ve ever had. It’s quiet, grinds up food instantly and my favorite thing is the rubber baffle is easy to take out and clean so it doesn’t get mold and greasy buildup on it.

This was a replacement for my 11 year old Insinkerator.

I am very pleased with this purchased. I upgraded to the Evolution Esteem Plus after replacing my builder grade insinkerator. The Evolution is really quiet and I also like the feature that you can remove the rubber stop and clean it in the dishwasher.
