As a homeowner, I never had to replace a garbage disposal. So many choices but the Esteem Plus had all the features and more. It's quiet...so quiet and built to last a lifetime...at least my lifetime

Quiet

Boy this thing is quiet. I’m use to the cheap noisy units and I always think this one is bound/locked up because it’s so quiet. Chews up everything we put in it, but we aren’t hard on our disposal ( no meat, bones, heavy vegetable stocks, etc).

Very happy with In Sinkerator purchase.

We are very happy with our Evolution Esteem purchase. We were adamant about the product because of prior history. The last four or five homes we've had came with a disposal that sounded like standing next to a helicopter taking flight. I really can't come up with a negative comment because it works exactly as advertised and expected. The quietness is the main factor if there had to be one.

Very powerful disposal. All parts required for installation were include. No problems with installation. Remember that the power cord does need to be purchased if not a direct electrical hookup. Very quiet unit relative to other disposals on the market.

Evolution evolvement

Our Emerson E120 ¾ hp disposer, which I installed in 1991, stopped rotating in late May this year. Finding a replacement was difficult, because of the complexity of online shopping, reviews, and finding a unit. I decided on an Insinkerator Evolution Esteem Plus 2, because it evolved from the E120 that had proven to be so reliable for so many years. Very Quiet and powerful

Replaced an older model Insinkerator which had lasted 30 years. Very easy to swap out using a car scissor jack for support. Very quiet while running and very powerful as well!

2021 Evolution Esteem Plus installation

We remodeled our kitchen island and updated our garbage disposal. Very quiet. Performs well

EXTREMELY quiet and smooth

What a great disposal! This thing is so quiet you have to double check that it's running. It also operates VERY smoothly, no shake, rattle, or hum here! I would buy this again!

Good Power, but food does not go down easily

The food opening in the rubber sink baffle prevents food from going into the disposal easily. Virtually all food types must be forced down into the disposal using some utencil. This is our second Insinkerator and the previous one had the identical issue. In fact, it has the identical rubber sink baffle. The smallest of vegetabkes (peas and corn) don't wash down without force, and even water backs up in the sink. I would still recommend it for the stronger motor to handle more solid food waste...

Great Product

Previously had a different smaller model. The new Evolution has greater capacity, larger HP, and is very quiet. I would purchase again.

Outstanding disposal with all the features for a modern kitchen

This disposal came logically packaged with easy to follow, straight-forward directions. RTFD - Read the ..... directions. If you follow the, the installation will go smoothly and without issue. Once installed, the disposal works great and, most importantly, works efficiently and quietly. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Super Quiet

I know it said it would be quiet, but after the last one we had that claimed it was quiet, this thing is unbelievably quiet, does exactly as described with bare minimum noise, absolutely love it..:

Very quiet and so far 3-4 weeks has been reliable

I look at garbage disposals as an appliance that needs replacement every 8-10 years because they can leak beneath the sink and cause hidden problems. Hopefully we may get a bit more out of this one - but mainly I'm pleased with how quiet and effective it is.

Powerful & quiet

The provided sleeve which connects the unit to the drain was barely long enough to securely connect requiring me to have to re plumb the drain trap. Unit is very quiet and powerful. Like the rubber stopper now is removable and not built in to the insinkerator.

Easy Install, works well

This item was a simple install, it both looks and works well. It is quiet and makes food disposal simple and easy. The more difficult part of install was the electrical, but easy enough to accomplish.

Best in its class

I was surprised how quiet and powerful this product is and can be. No hassle anymore and concerns of unexpected breakdowns. Reliable and under warranty.

only lasted 3 months

as other reviewers mentioned, it it relatively quiet and does grind well. None of these are exceptionally easy to install under a sink , but this is as easy as any. I rated it low because it stopped working after 3 months. Using an Allen wrench i can assess that the blades are free to turn. I know that there isn't a circuit breaker problem. the reset button can be pressed, but it doesn't stay "in". i hope find a different unit that is just as quiet but more reliable.

Quietest Disposal Ever

Son replaced my old, noisy disposal with this Evolution Esteem Plus model recently. It was a quickly and easily done. I am very pleased with the quiet efficiency as it powerfully dispatches everything from vegetable trimmings to egg shells.

Overall good product

It does a really good job doing what its suppose to do grind up and discard food waste. Only down side was its not as quiet as I thought it would be. Was replacing an older lesser model. It does a better job of grinding but is almost as loud as my last one.
