I had a badger 5 that rusted at the bottom and started leaking- replaced last year and same problem again so I upgraded to this model which comes with a 10 year warranty. Unit runs very quietly and I was impressed by how little vibration there is when it’s running. Rubber guard is removable for cleaning which is a huge plus. Highly recommend
