Poor design

plastic lever gets heated from the tank, weakening the lever. lever breaks into multiple pieces where it connects to the valve within 1 week

Insinkerator Hot Tap

I like this product. But I like the previous hot tap better. I think because the longer spout tends to hold the colder water so when you turn it on you get cold water and then hot water. I have retrained myself to bleeding off the cold water! Can’t live without the hot tap. It is a life saver.

I love this product.

It's awesome to have instant hot water, especially for hot tea or chocolate. I can also use it to warm my dish water - I hate lukewarm dish water!! The only thing I was surprised at was the faucet does not turn from side to side, but it really doesn't need to where we mounted it.

Good but differenent

This is my second InSinkErator Hot Water Dispenser system. Even though I purchased the same model type as my previous dispenser there is one significant difference--the water fllow. The prior model had a a measured directed even water flow regardless of how much pressure you applied when pulling the lever. This is a Replacement. Installed quickly

When my unit failed under warranty, Insinkerator Support replaced it with a new unit. I installed the new unit almost effortlessly. Unit is working perfectly. In addition to making tea, I use the nearly boiling water rather than waiting for the "pot to boil" when making pasta or boiling eggs. Great for cleaning when you need really hot water. Highly recommend.

Love Instant Hot Water

We drink hot tea during the week and coffee on the weekends. We are spoiled by this instant hot water and use it a lot. Recommend it.

I recommend this product with a few reservations you should be aware of.

This product was a replacement for our former unit which had given excellent service but succumbed to years of use. I did not give this product top marks for a few reasons - none of which affect its delivery of basic utility. It looks great with our existing faucet set and a new black 3-vessel sink. But, compared to our earlier unit, it could be better. The fast recovery feature really heats water rapidly but so much so, water near the heating seems to boil, producing a distracting noise. Conceptually good. Durability lacking

Really like the concept of Instant Hot and this is easy to install and works well. However, we are now on to our 3rd one in 6 years. In 2 previous dispensers, the hot water tank leaked due to poor weld. I wish they would last longer.

Outstanding: Instant hot water

Off the shelf purchase at Home Depot. I had a plumber install the Hot1 as part of a kitchen re-model. Can't say enought positives about it. Great. Wholeheartedly recommened.

Great Product

We got this on a whim, but it has turned out to be more than worth the money. It makes having a cup of tea or boiling water so much easier because it's instantaneous!

I do not like this instant hot

I do not like this instant hot, because when you use it the hot water spurts out . I had a instant hot for over 30 years and loved it. I do not like this new one.
