Love these things! They warrantied my old set of Pro's, no questions asked, after the battery quit holding a charge. With the Aware's, being able to hear my surroundings is a game changer. I work by myself, so its kind of dangerous when customers or my kids come into the shop while I'm running power tools or moving machinery around and I don't hear them. But now I do! ISO Tunes in the Factory

I use these in a factory with highly variable background noise. Sound quality and volume are good. The Aware feature works well but could use a couple more steps in the volume control. It tends to bring out "white" noises like fans, engines, etc. Even relatively quiet ventilation fans tend to be amplified to a distracting level with the Aware volume at it's lowest level. You can always mute the aware volume if needed but it would be nice to have more control of the volume or even better an equi...

These iso tunes are fantastic. I’m a general contractor and when I work I love to listen to music. Great hearing protecting and great sound.

Isotunes aware

Awesome headphones, took a little to get used to wearing the plugs for an extended period. But I know find them comfortable. The aware settings are fantastic, cuts out the loud noises and allows you to hear your surroundings, as advertised.

I have been using these for a couple weeks now. Working in an auto dealership these have been tested against impact guns, air chisels, tire inflators and done well. The one downside I have found is the interstate road noise from right outside is actually amplified so when the shop is fairly quiet the environment seems louder while these are in use. Otherwise, it is great to be able to listen to what I want and not the five elevator music songs on loop broadcast in the building.

I wanted to like them

I work construction and the aware feature was nice for when I was nailing inside of a closet but it would not cut out the noise of a tablesaw or a chopsaw running in the background so it was actually louder than wearing nothing. Also certain noises like driving a car would make it constant static cutting in and out when using the aware feature. I like the idea of the aware feature but I ended up returning them because I couldn’t wear them after one day. They also made my head hurt after wearing ...

Best Ear Pro a woodworker could ask for!

Amazing hearing protection with noise cancelling. Helps out tremendously around CNC Routers and loud power tools. I use them to mow about 2 acres and they barely lose connection with my laptop music. Highly recommend this product.

Not for me…

This style of hearing protection with audio wasn’t what I expected for my use. I have been using over ear protection mostly when mowing and the audio is barely audible over the lawn mower. I returned them and got the LINK originals and am extremely happy with those. The ‘Aware’ feature may be good for some cases, but not in my case. I also had a very hard time with putting them in my ears with the loop style ear buds. I wanted to get away from over ear protection because they are very hot, so I ...

Very good sound

I have a pair of ISO tunes Pro, however my only complaint is trying to hear someone with the ear buds in. This ISO Tunes Pro Aware solves this problem. The sound is great and I can hear anyone that wants to talk to me without removing my ear buds. Thank you for a great product and protecting my hearing!

These need to be replaced. Used for bout two hours tilI gave up and went to the ISOtunes Free… Please let me know how to replace these others!?!

High quality

So far they’ve been great. The silicone tips seemed very stiff (compared to the silicone tips included in the isotunes pros that I have owned previously) and sometimes ambient noises are amplified too much (AC units, machinery, mowers, birds, etc…) so I wish there was an app that gave you more control over what sounds it cut out and what it let through (E.g. the ability to cut out specific frequencies completely and the ability to cut out all ambient noise so that you only hear noises out of t...

PRO Aware

I am a professional trumpet player and use my PRO Aware for noise reduction during rehearsals and performances. I am pleasantly surprised at the technology, as the PRO Aware dampens percussion and other loud instruments and, at the same time, I can hear the conductor's instructions and my fellow musicians in my section.

I do a lot of woodworking at home, and I've tried a number of different solutions for hearing protection. I think my search for the perfect answer is over! I didn't like over-the-ear muffs because they were cumbersome and hot. I was constantly taking them on and off and couldn't hear my phone ring or my wife calling me to eat while wearing them. Plus I'd put them down and then have to try to remember where I laid them. I tried passive earbuds and I liked those better, but they get uncomfortable ...
