What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these snips and chalk line tools for exceptional cutting power and durability. Many highlight their ability to cut through metal roofing, conveyor belts, and hardware cloth with ease, describing them as "cut through tin like butter" and noting they remain sharp after heavy use. The sturdy, ergonomic design earns consistent commendation. The chalk line tools impress with smooth operation, reliable retraction, and a compound winding mechanism with press-button disengagement. A few users report occasional tangling or jamming if the line is tensioned improperly, and some note the tools feel heavier than competing models. Overall, reviewers consider these reliable, high-performing tools worth the investment.

Would RecommendI was only cutting 1/4" hardware cloth but these snips were easy to hold and use, and they cut very well. I have relatively small hands, too, so I was glad they were easy to control.
Excellent tool
Would RecommendI love these snips they are strong enough to cut through a variety of metals and other materials with ease.

Solid product
Would RecommendCut through tin like butter.
Not as good as expected
Would Not RecommendThought the long jaws would be great to cut the diagonal cut on roof metal but length makes it too hard to cut. I have done metal roof work on and off for 9+ years and it's still easier to use the short jaw aviation snips.
Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.
Would RecommendCut perfectly in all directions.
Solid set of sheers
Would RecommendUsed for duct work, made the job quick and clean, no fuss quality sheers.
I found the size of the grip too small to effectively cut heavier materials. Probably would work fine with thinner or smaller guage items. Also, the jaws tended to bind shut after a cut, even though they are spring loaded to open, like the other snips I have.
metal roofer snips
small cuts these are great but they wear out faster then midwests or wiss but are far superior to stanley snips
Snips
Would RecommendNeeded heavy duty snips for a project of mind, these worked great.
Great quality
Would RecommendQuality product that performs well. Cut through heavy rubber conveyor belt w/ease. Even better, it was on sale!
Waste of time.
Would Not RecommendMy Stanley fatmax snips wore out after a few years. I mainly work with 18 gauge steel. I bought Wiss at home Depot and they were worse than my old fatmax. I returned those, and didn't buy the milwaukees as they didn't seem too good. Went to Lowe's and bought these Lenox ones. They wouldn't cut 18 barely unless I used two hands. I returned them and bought a set of 3 fatmax for the price of these, and they cut 18 gauge with one hand. The lenox appear to be well made, even moreso than the f...
Great tool
Would RecommendThis is a great tool, wish I had bought an offset straight aviation snip years ago
